I just answered for the 400th time the question, "Are people born that way or choose to be gay?"

I also see a lot of debate about other scientific issues here in other sections.

Isn't that a bit like debating gravity? "Do you believe a dropped object falls to the earth?"

I don't think sexual orientation's origins are quite that clear yet. But, I think they will be someday...either way it isn't a matter of faith it is a matter of science.

i am a girl and is studying in a girls' secondary school. i saw this new girl and didn't take notice of her at first. but the next yr, i find myself loving her really much. she's not that attractive and i don't know what i love her for. but i just simply love her. people tease me, and say that i love her but i tell them i don't. what can i do? should i tell the girl that i love her? am i becoming a lesbian?

Everyone that commented only have shown their lacking imtelligence, wisdom, knowledge, and understanding, especially in the rim of spirituality. I believe in God but sometimes i have some doubts.What if all these that we where fighting for is nothing more than a lie?What if cristianity is another edition of other ancients culture that was proven false.What makes beleve that Jesus was real and not another story.We dont have proofs for anything.
I also get notice somehing else..
Demon is originated from ancient Greeks(daimon).They used to call Daimon(Demon) those that where very smart.
After some centuries the word take negative form but is has the same meaning.
Maybe our churche and religion dont want clever people.So i believe that our religion bound us and want to guide us where it want.

Just a short story...
It was a hot summer day. Gabriel can’t bear the heat of the sun. He searched for something to cool him down but to no avail. His friend, Althea saw him drenched in sweat so she offered him a cup of shaved ice. After finishing his, he scanned his surroundings for a trash bin in order to dispose the cup. Unfortunately, none were insight. He later decided to leave it lying on the ground. Althea foresaw his intention and tried to stop him. “Gabriel, don’t even think about leaving it on the ground. You know better than that. That’s littering!” informed Althea. Unfortunaltely, Gabriel is very stubborn “Oh please! What can one cup do to our environment?”

What can you people say about Gabriel? I need an honest opinion here? I think that even though it was only one it's nbot right because it's still littering! Whatcha people think??

There are two aspects of God according to Hinduism.
(1) The Nirgun (Unmanifested or without form).
(2) The Sagun (Manifested or with form).

The Nirgun is formless and the Sagun is with form both denoting the same – God.
Some prefer to worship the Nirgun but many prefer worship of the Sagun aspect.

The Gita states, in Chapter XII, that the worship of the Sagun aspect of God is easy and preferable for worship.
Man has form, body, senses etc., so it’s natural and easy for him to worship God with form.

Our love and devotion to God can not develop unless we worship the Sagun aspect of God.
This needs to be done for a certain period and this leads us to worship (by meditation) the Nirgun aspect of God.

So let us start with Sagun worship. Image, alter, fire, light, sun, water and Brahma (the Universe) are the seven objects of worship.

Are some or all of these not used in all religions?

Why do Muslims worship the Nirgun (Unmanifested) aspect form right from the start?

I take it very personal. Could this be stemming from something in the past growing up with a brother who liked to manipulate and accuse? How does one handle this biblically to not care and take it personally? or gently confront that person when you are hearing something that is not true. Example: Someone telling me "You never call me, I always call you". Which is false because I call that person. I know the person just wants me to call more, but to me that is trying to make that person look better? This is probally basic 101 stuff, but I need answers thanks!

i mean in black churches they real get crunk and excited and clap and get out of they sits and praise the lord and embarrses themselves infront of other people then the white chour cant sing at all and when the preacher preaches he is in a boring voice but when a black preacher preaches they get it crunk and lound
