You're kind of all over the place.

First, Christianity hasn't been proven false. Some of the stories might be wrong, but the central belief, that God loves and forgives us, and we should love and forgive others, is both unprovable and undebunkable. The real question is does that faith open your heart to others and the world in general.

Second, the origins of words is not a very good way to decide on a philosophy's merits. You can go off on some pretty silly tangents if you're not careful.

Third, all institutions, religious or secular, want clever talented people. Clever people help make the institution more profitable, more powerful, and more adaptable. In the case of a church, that means the members and leaders (often the same people) can spread their philosophies and theologies easier, and find comfort within the church and congregation. It can turn into a parasitical thing, but it doesn't have to.

Fourth, rich religious leaders do exist, but they do not represent all religious leaders. There are plenty of smaller churches, led by people who are brought to faith by noble beliefs.

Fifth, it is possible that Christianity and other religions don't encourage slaughter as much as they gets used by people who are open to slaughter to justify their actions. I can't prove this, I'm not sure how anyone could, but it is possible.

And finally, you know, Jesus had to come from somewhere.

If you search hard enough you will find what you are looking for. You can not be certain of anything. For all you know this reality that you see is a false one. All you can do is live according to the evidence that you find. Whether or not the answer is perfectly true, you will be headed in pretty much the right direction. Remember you know a tree by it's fruits. A demon is actually a disembodied nephilim who was left on the earth after the flood. A nephilim is a half angel half human talked about in genesis 6. When nephilim die, only their mortal half dies. The spirit remains with the power to harm humans. Like poltergeist.

Well I think you have some real questions that need answers but the first thing you need to understand is faith. Faith is the belief in the things unseen. Many words of today are translated from Greek or Latin and of course Old English. That is not surprising . There are many churches that do not want you to be intelligent so that they have control over you and your finances truth be told. But Jesus taught largely through asking questions and telling parables that were easir to grasp and he never once stepped in between the disciples who argued amongst themselves regularly. Questions are what brings you to the truth by forcing you to search for yourself. Christianity is certainly not the only religion that has been used as a scapegoat for greed, power and war. My suggestion would be take your questions and look for the answers to them in the bible. In the New testament, Jesus gave an exact template of how a person should live a Godly life. All we have to do is follow it, not what someone else tells you was correct. Man after all is just that, man with fallacies and given to error.

God does exist.

Religion does not make God but religion attempts to explain God. Just because some religions and some people have done bad things in the name of God does not make God bad or not exist it only makes those people misguided.

God has given everyone free will, so you have the choice to believe or not. To practice Love or not. As with anything each choice you make has consequences. Love creates more love, hope, peace, harmony. The opposite of love is fear, selfishness, hate. So decide which direction you want to go into and keep making choices that lead you in that direction.

If you stop and think about what Jesus tried to teach. To me weather he was the Messiah or not. The principles are sound and generally a good guide to live your life by.
He also said" where ever 2 or more gather in my name so shall I be". When I read that I realized that the church was no longer for me.
Might be just praying or talking to myself. But it works for me. I wonder if we find out in the end?

You are thinking, excellent. This will save you some time. All major religions are based in truth, they all have more in common that different if you look hard enough. Dont throw everything out because a few prideful egocentric idiots got the religion wrong. Find what all religions have in common and believe that.... It will give you a head start, before you get a personal connection to a higher power...whatever you want to call it........

Isn't it wonderful the way God made man. He didn't force us to believe in Him, although He could have. He gave us a free will to decide whether or not we wanted to believe in Him or not. I prefer to believe in Him and not scientists who have a theory on how everything is. Theories are unproven thought. God proves Himself each and every day to me. When I wake in the morning and see the marvelous world He created is proof enough. I want to believe and worship Him because He has promised an eternity with Him if I do. What do scientist promise.......Nothing....

Okay doubting Thomas, death is death, if there is nothing else then you will not be able to stick you finger in the nail scars on the hands of Jesus.

But for sure of one thing, we did not make the sun, the moon or the earth.

We did not make the ocean or the trees. These things bear witness to you that you did not make them, you did not make your self. SO WHO DO YOU OWE THANKS TOO!

IS IT GOING TO KILL YOU AND CAUSE YOU TO DIE YOUNG TO BELIEVE THAT YOU ARE NOT THE CREATOR? Learn who is, why things are as they are, about angels and if they become demons they were sons of God first.
YOU DID NOT WRITE THE BOOK THAT TELLS YOU WHERE EVERY THING CAME FROM. We are from Adam, we did not loose our self, we are innocent and plans are made to save us.
If you want death to be it for you, so does Satan, but you and he both have your time limit.
The genealogy of Jesus is from the first Human created on earth down to Noah #10,
Abraham #20, David, to Babylon and to Jesus is #62.

People in this world have many form of identification.

Job 38:4-7 Angels were before man. John 17:3,5,24; Jesus was before Man.
Job 2:1,2 Angels are sons of God, Satan was with them.
Gen.6:2,4;
Angels did sin, Jude 6; 1Pet.3:18-20; 2Pet.2:4; They will be judged 1Cor.6:2,3;
After these angels that sin are called devils and demons. As Satan the devil.
Eze.28:13-15;
He was the cherub angel anointed over Eden. Angels are called mornin stars or such.
Gen.3:1-5;
Called serpent he decieved Eve into obeying him instead of God. Gods spirit is the life of the soul.
Isa.14:12-14;
Called Lucifer means day star and compares world leaders to him.
2Cor.4:3,4; 11:14[ Satan transform himsel into an angel of light, he is god of this world ];
But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: 4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

NOW WHERE IS GOD? All the angels he created are sons of God, from Adam created all his offsprings deserve according to him, all the perfect that has been lost form Eden and man and angel is involved. ALL WE HAVE SEEN IS THE IMPERFECT IN THIS LIFE.

THE PROMISE IS PERFECTION FOR THE HEAVENS AND THE EARTH AND ETERNAL LIFE FOR THOSE WHO WANT IT.
Michael and holy angels. Elect and first resurrected, the just, sheep, meek and humble
people of love and peace. Family people.

John 3:16 God so loved the world, so did Jesus. He is the only one to qualify to save the world. THEY COULD HAVE WIPED IT OUT ANY TIME BUT HAVE ALLOWED A TIME LIMIT ON SALVATION.

You have to quit listening to the whisperings of the evil one. What you need to do is read the word and establish yourself by standing on it. Don't be swayed by every wind of doctrine, that is not faith according to James.

For in just a little while,
the Coming One will come and not delay.
And a righteous person will live by faith.
But I will have no pleasure in anyone who turns away.
But we are not like those who turn their backs on God and seal their fate. We have faith that assures our salvation.
Hebrews 10:37-39

You ar not describing true Christianity here...you are talking about Christendom....

sadly, people do not know the difference and believe they are Christians but they are mislead...try finding the one who believes in the One True God and God's son Jesus---not practicing what you've written here.
