I live in liverpool and I have never witnessed a crime or have never been mugged myself. Every city has its rough parts not just liverpool. Lots of people are still living in the 70s and think that because the docks have closed down, people still have to steal for a living. Get your facts right

I know Man United fans hate 'scousers' basically from all the rivalry from over the years. First Liverpool won everything, so the United fans got stick for that. Then it was the other way round in the 90's so they repaid the stick. That is the only reason I know of (from a football point of view). By the way, I am a United supporter, and went to Anfield for a match years ago, that United actually won, and the verbal abuse I heard going back to the coach, has put me off 'scousers' for life. Whenever I hear a liverpudlian, I wait for the swearing to start. But I know a lot of nice scousers who don't swear at all.

scousers have a bad name because of their reputation of stealing and their accent throughout hundreds of years, if you notice people never have a scouser working in a bank because some people are weary of leaving their money with them (because of the stealing part again), and also whenever you are put onto a phone operator you realise that it's never a scouser either because hardly anyone can understand their accent and also the way they talk because a friend of mine has a book with scouser phrases in and "i'll mug ya!" means "i'll help you"

Never heard of that before. There's a few jokes about them but they're mostly good-natured. I've got nothing against Liverpool.

It is the accent, the Wirral is worse though and Brum, well thank God Nigel Mansell retired. But Bread really buggered it for you and those frigid Liver Birds, and Cilla and Paul Muck cart knee, and the Beatless, no wonder they put in the worlds first high speed rail link so folk could escape.
Perhaps the laugh and a joke and a merry quip as they mug you dont help, the only city in the UK left where most muggers are white, I bet you think this is some kind of slur, wake up and smell the sewers it is the truth.
