Luke 11:34 says: The lamp of the body is your eye. When your eye is simple, your whole body is also bright; but when it is wicked, your whole body is dark. It means to keep yourself involved with spiritual things and not on things of the world which are in darkness, when you keep spiritually minded then your whole body will be bright, we are referred to as lamps of the world, shining our light upon the darkness, helping people in darkness that have no spiritual truth.

Jesus meant you have to focus. Jesus said that, and he meant just focus on what you're doing, then you can see the task at hand. Your mind has light, meaning reasoning power, but you must apply it; meanwhile some guy in India or where ever was saying "When walking just walk; above all don't wobble." and many other things that correlate with the words of Jesus.
Most Christians don't pay attention to the words of Jesus, because most of what he said goes way over their heads; preferring instead the words of Paul or James or Timothy or Titus or some goofy Baptist preacher...
