It seems to me that if you read Isaiah 52 and 54, that it is clear that the suffering servant refers to Israel. I know many Christians claim this refers to Jesus. Completely out of context, it might seem so, but In context I think not.

I don't mean to sound angry, but many missionaries try to use this line to convert Jews and I think it is very clear that it does not refer to Jesus.

Desperately seeking someone who has the gift of prophecy & not with the view point of foretelling the future or adding anything additional to God's word. Charles Stanely has a wonderful description of all the gifts in his radio archives, back in January 2005. I always called this ability a curse until I heard his sermon & understoond this strong spiritual discernment & unbelievable intuition is God-given. Hearing his message helped me realize I wasn't crazy after all nor was I this horrible, quick judgemental type person but rather it was information that God was allowing me to see. I really need to share info, guidance, support & encouragment. Most important, need strong God-giving advice and wisdom. I have done additional research online getting other pastors (?) viewpoints & yet at times I will still call it a curse, which then grieves me with a deep sense of guilt. After all, it is a gift from God, meant to be used for His work & to glorify His name.

can't objective proof be offered. I still see people are using the bible as the proof. one guy compares it to a automotive owners manual and others just cite it as evidence. please, if you cannot come up with some deeper thinking about your understanding as to the existence of god, then please don't bother.

I was talking to one of my friends who practices Voodooo and she was telling me about the wonders of Wanga and Voodoo Dolls. I was wondering if anyone had any experience with them or could give me some more information. I am simply curious.

What makes a person worthy to make up a word? There is ethnicity...ethnic....Ifnicity is about how would a person be if they were raised in a given way? Would they be nice or naughty? Charachter so to speak. But isn't charachter built on the ifness of how someone is raised to be?

What would you need? For the sake of simplicity, lets say it wasn't anything involving (long-term) radiation. It could be an electromagnetic pulse, a "deep freeze" or something that disrupted worldwide communications and crippled most governments. What would you need to survive and why?

The first thing, sadly (besides the obvious food, water and fuel) that comes to mind, sadly, is a weapon. What do YOU people think? (Please don't write if you wouldn't want to survive, which I understand...I just want survival plans, mmmkay?)

He grew up and worked most of his life around people that called asians "gooks" and picked on "homos", and thinks all "towelheads" should be shot. He thinks guys that "push pencils" arn't real men, and are "p" whipped, he's a really big guy who is very strong, (ex linebacker) well educated in a management position making good money, and approaches everything with a super-masculine point of view, swears like a sailor (used to be one) . He is generous, kind and loving, and goes out of his way to help out people, he just has this narrow-minded view about how men should be, and it drives me nuts because my point of view is, so what if a guy is gay/asian/pencilpusher/"insert label here"? As long as they are not shoving it down my throat, whining about it continously, or crowing about it every five seconds like they are more important than anyone else, or killing people over it, who cares? It's their problem to deal with, not mine. How do I get him to tone it down for my company party?

Those who believe in God say that God alone knows everything. Does this mean that those who enter heaven will share in such power?

I presume that those who have a materialistic/atheist worldview believe that only an evolved biological consciousness will lead to anything approaching supreme knowledge. Unless I am mistaken.

The power is evading me and I think I am finally about to lose what's left of my sanity. I might be trying to kill myself. Please answer quickly if you can.

I know that a LOT of people will not agree with me on this, but after reading some of the comments people have put on here, I just had to get my point across. And if you do not like my opinion, oh well. God is the almighty Creator, always has been here, and always will be here. If you don't believe in God, then shame on you. But while im lazing around in heaven, most of the people will be toiling away in hell. The bible says that you must obey the Ten Commandments, that you must believe that Jesus Christ is our personal savior and that if we do not accept him, then we will go to hell. Take the story of Job for instance. God took away everything that he had to prove a point to the Devil, gave him horrible sores, yet Job never stopped believing in God. This is the example we should follow. And if I have offended anyone, Im not sorry, b/c if I have offended you, then shame on you. It angers me to think that people think God is a tyrant and evil, out to kill everyone. Comments please.
