A follower of Jesus Christ. Early believers didn't call themselves "Christian", they just said they were followers of "The Way".
At Antioch, in Syria, other people said the believers lived such holy, clean, loving lives that they were like "little Christs". The name stuck.
To be compared to Jesus is actually a bit scary, don't you think? Who among us can live up to His example?

That depends on who you are asking.
If you are asking a sociologist, then a Christian is a person who belongs to a certain religious grouping, based on where they go to church, etc.
If you ask a "Born Again" Christian, then most Christians as described by a sociologist would not qualify as the Born Agains further require someone to have had a "conversion" or Born Again experience, where they personally gave their lives over to the care and service of Jesus Christ.
Some Pentacostal groups would further add that one needs to have evidence of some "indwelling" of the Holy Spirit, such as speaking in tongues.

very little.
There are people who call themselves "Christian" who believe the biblical adage "an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth" and consequently support war and vengence.
There are people who call themselves "Christian" who believe the biblical adage "turn the other cheek" and consequently support forgiveness & diplomatic efforts.
There are people who call themselves "Christian" who confidently damn homosexuals to Hell for eternity.
There are people who call themselves "Christian" who 'abhor the sin but forgive the sinner'.
Being "Christain" basically means you can be whoever you want to be and still feel justified!
As George Bernard Shaw said; "No man ever believes the Bible says what it means; he is always convinced it says what he means." LOL!

You'll probably get dozens of different answers to this, as everyone seems to have an opinion on it (and has for a couple thousand years!), but I'd have to say, it's anyone who follows the teachings of Jesus.

It means to be blind with faith and reject anything logical .
discount all scientific advances as done by god - not man .
Give your money to the church so they can get credit for the good deeds they do with everyone elses money .
Put down all others that don`t believe as you do .
And last but not least Judge others and tell them they are going to hell for not accepting jesus.

To be a Christian is to believe that God sent His son Jesus to Earth to die for our sins so that we may be adopted into God's family and go to heaven. We must also believe in the trinity: That God is the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit all in one, and we must try to live according to God's will.
