Those who believe in God say that God alone knows everything. Does this mean that those who enter heaven will share in such power?

I presume that those who have a materialistic/atheist worldview believe that only an evolved biological consciousness will lead to anything approaching supreme knowledge. Unless I am mistaken.

The power is evading me and I think I am finally about to lose what's left of my sanity. I might be trying to kill myself. Please answer quickly if you can.

We may possess the knower, not the knowledge.

God set aside His power and glory to take on the form of man and suffer death, even the death of the Cross. Perhaps this would suggest that the "search for power" is in the direction of humility rather than knowledge.

Scripture says that even now we see through a glass darkly, but one day face to face. In this "knowledge" then we shall know, even as we are known. Perhaps this might suggest that true knowledge is found in a relationship of being; and not in many relationships between facts, however "true" those facts may be.

For my own part I do not think there is such a "thing" as supreme knowledge except as an attribute of God. I would thus rather be a friend of God than one who attempts to cull His mind.

If we walk hand in hand together what knowledge I need the source of all knowledge supplies. Much easier this way and it doesn't tax my limited storage capacity.

As for killing ones' self. All men are touched by God in the presence of hope. As said one poet. "Hope springs eternal" in the human soul. The world is very dark now and hope, faith and love are very strange and rare commodities.

To take ones' life, in many cases, is to give up that touch from God which, within the life of Christ, lights every man who comes into the world. God touches all men in hope. He judges all those who destroy hope. I do not speak of our inordinate desires but the pure hope that is in each of us, and because of us within others.

However useless or worthless we may seem to ourselves; almost always we find that many hopes depend upon us. Even the commercial side of Christmas is built on the presence of hope. A small piece of passing human technology, wrapped in colored tissue paper, would never count as commerce unless it was driven by the gift of hope.

Those of us who were without hope in this world; God restored hope to us first. If you want true knowledge, understand how hope works and how God Himself stands behind it. And, before you do anything rash, consider the doors of hope you may close forever.

Supreme Knowledge

There is no such power for any human. No point in killing yourself!!! You do not need to have SUPREME KNOWLEDGE. Actually, I think it would be too much for us and our finite minds.

All we need to do is to study and learn what we can; and accept what God will tell us: Come now, saith the Lord, and let us reason together ....

We might be curious about many things, but it is best that we leave supreme knowledge with Him who is Supreme. Those of us who are admitted to Heaven will, no doubt, have our knowledge greatly increased ... perhaps as we learn there. But we do NOT become gods; so we do NOT become supreme nor have supreme knowledg given to us nor thrust upon us.

Your first paragraph can be restated as saying heaven is that supreme power.

The answer to your second question, is that atheists would say that nothing has supreme power. The intelligent and wise man knows this is foolish, as nothing comes from nothing, so nothing can not have supreme power.

As for the last paragraph, may God have mercy on your soul.

Oh, and p.s.: don't kill yourself.

No matter what, we shall never be as all-knowing, powerful, or wonderful as God, but our understanding will grow and develop in heaven beyond that which is possible on Earth.

Don't kill yourself. Try to read the akashic records. Go to muse-net.com, there are many enlightening articles. Try to do astral projection. Read about robert peterson, he's got a free ebook you can read on his site, it's http://www.robertpeterson.org Also read about Edgar Cayce as well. He tapped into the universal knowledge.

Sure, but only if you don't crave it. You got to prove yourself worthy of it before God grants it to you. If you're after power, then fat chance. Look at what happen to wise, yet foolish, men of Atlantis. They had a beautiful thing going until they thought to themselves "Think of the power!"

I don't see how we will ever know for sure. As far as after death, maybe then we will find out. Or maybe some things will never be known except by God.
