Someone gives you a gift, someone who is close to you and you happen to see them very frequently (their relationship is beyond a simple acquaintance) and you simply dont like the gift for whatever reason (you may hate it, its not your type, its not your size or color liking) and a gift receipt may or may not have been provided (doesn't really matter). Do you kindly thank them and ask them to exchange it or at least let them know it wasnt to ur liking or do u simply throw it in ur closet/drawer and never use/wear it? Take into consideration ofcourse that the person who gave the gift is close to u and may notice that it was never used/worn and may eventually take offense to that. Some may say its the thought that counts and not the gift, and by mentioning that the gift is not to his/her liking may be hurtful and disrespectful to the gift giver but if the gift was given to satisfy the recipient in a way shouldnt it be mentioned? What would you do u in this case?

Here's the thing, I can understand a generic card saying Happy Holidays, because it cover everything. But I think it has gotten a bit ridiculous. When there's a picture of baby Jesus or even Santa on a card why put Happy Holidays on it when that is only about Christmas. Or now everything is Happy holidays , so no one is offended. If a store is decked out in Christmas trees, lights and stocking why say Happy holiday when you've decorated for Christmas!! What do you think, doesn't that make sense or is it just me??? And for those of you who don't celebrate Christmas does Happy Holiday make the season easier for you???

When Jesus was talking about the end of days, He said in Matthew 24:12, "12Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, 13but he who stands firm to the end will be saved". Can anyone explain this scripture to me?

Then He said in 32-34: 32"Now learn this lesson from the fig tree: As soon as its twigs get tender and its leaves come out, you know that summer is near. 33Even so, when you see all these things, you know that it is near, right at the door. 34I tell you the truth, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened.

How is the fig tree looking to you all? Is it fall, winter, spring, or summer?

I had a question earlier about my recent ex that treated my bad while we were together. He has cheated on me. kicked me out of "our" house (That I payed 1/3 of the morgage every month and 1/3 of the bills) to entertain his mistress. He cororsed me out but locking our bedroom door so I couldn't get my clothes. He decided to invite half naked women to "our" housewarming and turned his head away when I tried to kiss him in front of them. He went to an ATM and made me get money out of my account to pay bills before we went to the hospital while I was having labor contractions when I was having my son. He ignored me in the delivery room. I couldn't even enjoy my son coming into the world because I was so hurt. I hurts because I still love him though I know I can never go back to him, and he wants to be a pert of his child's life at least finacially, (He came over one day and I had asked him to change his child's diaper, he got his 4 year old daughter 2 do it instead.) How do I forgive him?

I have been having an ongoing debate with my dad for quite some time now. He says that the Muslim religion is one that teaches that killing the infidel will get rewards in the after life, and encourages kids to grow up to be suicide bombers. I think that muslim terrorists are a branch of Islam which is corrupt yet to that my dad says that Islam was spread by the sword. Am I right? If so how can I convinve him so?

How do i fix this? Tonight in about 30 mins. my gf is going to tell me that i need to walk away from her. that it is in my best interest if we are not together. SHe is an alcoholic, has gained a little wait and has a very addictive personality, but lately she has been saying that she treats me badly and that I don't deserve her and that I could find better. SOme of this may be true but I have put up with so much already and honestly i just can't be w/o her. Ok so she is my 1st gf and 1st everything ever. i know lame. but I can't live w/o her i can't. i am thinking of asking her if she wants to be with me in at all or never. cause honestly if she said she could get herself better in six months, i would wait for her. thats just how much i love her. i need her, i want her, can anyone give me advise asap. please help my heart is about to be broken and i need a way to avoid it. please, i'm begging and praying that someone has some good advice soon. She is my heart. Help PLEASE help
