and i tell her i dont know.. then i ask her.. what are other peoples purposes in life.. what do they live for?

she told me to go find out..

he wants to banish the N word from comedians so they cant use it. so what about when other comedians say other racial slurs, like dave chapelles favorite words : cracker and honkey

o well, i guess dave chapelle wont get on the radio and appologize or go on national tv and appologize, but o well, if he did that, there would prolly be jessejackson saying he wasnt a real black man or something

Of course I am only speaking this way because I dont think sin is a matter of punishment that we receive from god, but more so the sin of ourselves, and the punishment upon our being. God has already made his choice. Now we have to decide if there is a god or not speaking to us in our little corners of timeout. If indeed there is a god it would seem we are already enduring our punishment by being here, and not there. So what purpose would god have to conflict more punishment upon us. Unless sin is just the punishment of ourselves. Then the rest is meaningless. Anyways like all good parents know every child is angry by what they dont know, so anger leads to reason, not more punishment.
what are your thoughts? Just wondering

One of my coworkers likes to have the air-con at 15 degrees (Celcius) everyday, but I am constantly cold. I sit under a vent and as a result end up sneezing all day. My hands are so cold I can hardly type and my nose is always running. Yet whenever I try to alter the temp, he just waits till I'm not watching and puts it back. I've tried talking to him and joking about it, but he just doesn't seem to care about my discomfort.

So my question is, does anyone have any tips on how I can win this battle?

PS i don't bring a sweater to work, because it's like 30 degrees outside (it's summer here) and it's a hassle to carry one. Plus, I don't see why I should have to!

Are you on Satans hit list?

If not, what the heck are you doing? If your life is easy, and Satan is not bothering you I can asure you that you are luke warm at best. When a person is a CHRISTIAN Satan hates your guts, and will do anything I repeat ANYTHING he has to to get you away from God.
The reason Satan does not bother non-Christians is he aleady has them in his grasp. If you are not his he lothes the very ground you walk on, and will do anything to get you in his grasp.

So lets get up out of our comfort zones and reach people with the Gospel. Time is far to short for us to continue to be pew warmers. If all you want is for you to make Heaven, I pitty you, and that is not what we are here for. We are COMANDED by Christ to "go into all the world, and make desciples".

P.S. Before you call me self righteous, I will tell you that I am speaking to myself here too. This is truly what God has been talking to a lot of Pastors about lately.

Okay I can totally understand why people would hate me for this but I came on here for answers, not insults. There's this kid that sits behind me in english and I HATE him, he's annoying, he's always poking me, he has that nazely voice, and he always comments on everything the teacher says, everything! He just thinks he's so funny, like if the teacher says "Have a nice weekend, stay out of trouble" he always says "well I can't make any promises" grrrrr! Now he keeps flirting with me, but he's one of those people who act mean and annoying to people when they like them. The thing is he has one leg that is skinnier and smaller than the other one, he wears a brace and special shoes. What do I do when he asks me out? Cuz not only am I not interested, I can't stand him! I wanna slap him that's how much he annoys me, but since he has a disabiltity that apparently makes me some sort of "monster". Well I can't help it okay? Just tell me what I should do then throw the rotten tomatoes!
