The same reason hearing people fart around others...because they don't care, if they need to fart...they fart...and probly think its funny, just like a whole lot of hearing ppl.....why on earth would it make a difference if they are deaf?

oh, wow. i really never thought about it. i'd imagine some do. i mean it seems that the number one reason people don't pass gas is the noise. most people will let one loose if they think it will be silent so logically if a deaf person is unaware of the sound then i'd say yes, yes the do. lol... now i must remember to be more understanding of obvious, ungardered gas!

i do believe that they are aware of when they are passing gas though. and for you who think that everyone has the decentcy to not fart in public, are you saying you've never smelt gas that wasn't yours? be honest, when you have to, you have to. if there is no way for it to be linked back to you and you have to do it, you will, and everyone else does too, including the deaf.

Okay, we all know that we can have silent farts but that doesn't mean you are going to do it in the middle of a room. So, I would imagine that the deaf have the same respect for others.

Are you a closet farter? Do you walk around the beach wondering why you are suddenly getting larger? What kind of a question is this? One to get people going I guess!Maybe they can "FEEL" but they might not know that it is actually making noise!

Its a natural phenomenon. I agree that they don't hear themselves. but they are very sensitive. they can feel the pressure I suppose.

No, they do it because they like the smell.

Okay, that was a lousy answer for a very bad question. Happy, now?
