In the early 1900's the Young Turk movement in Turkey sought the ethnic cleansing of all non-Muslim, non - turkish races living in their homeland. this was not a hate group, but official Turkish government policy to cleanse turkey of all non-Turk Christians. they started a pogrom to eliminate 1.5 million
Armenians, and later killed 500,000 Greeks also. they drove the Armenians from their homes to die in the desert, they shot them alive, threw them into rivers, tortured them relentlessly and raped the women and girls & killed most of them. they died of hunger, thirst, disease, exhaustion, and the entire world did nothing.

In his autobiography, Mein kampf - Hitler praises the Turkish genocide of the Armenians, and remarks: "nowadays who remembers the slaughter of the Armenians by the Turks..." Hitler suggested that the Germans must imitate the Turks in eradicating the Jews from Europe. Hitler said the Turks gave him his inspiration for the Holocaust.

The Armenian Genocide occurred simultaneously with the Assyrian and Greek Genocides, a total of over 3 million Christians perished by the Ottoman Turks. Turkey still to this day does not want to accept the Genocides of these people, stating it never happened when my ancestors lived in Turkey and then migrated to survive. I am living proof, the Genocides happen, no matter what any Turk says.
