Hi Cait,
It wasn't until I turned 40 yrs old(now 50) that I finally knew my purpose in life. Sometimes it just takes some time to figure it out, it also takes life experiences that you may not of had that many yet depending on how old you are.
My purpose- Is to encourage people to see their own best potential. People I love, friends, and even strangers given the right circumstances I encourage them. I am an instrument of encouragement.
What do I live for-I live each day to extend my purpose to others. I also live to let my loved ones know I am here for them and love them. I am here to experience whatever life brings my way and to be thankful for life.
What brings me joy-Simple things in life bring me joy. The smile of a friend, the laughter of a child, the laughter of my own child who is now 23. Love. Flowers, clouds, the ocean, the waves. Many things and people bring me joy.
Your purpose as you will find out will be very simple. It is something you are probably already doing and don't realize it.
Look into yourself, look at yourself honestly, your likes and dislikes. What makes you happy will probably help lead you to what your purpose is.
Enjoy the journey of self discovery, you are very worth the efforts.
Good luck to you!

My purpose in life is to make the most of it !
I live for my family and friends, and to create, I'm an artist.
Being alive !!
I'm 50, I've been a waitress, a bartender, a clerk, a wife, a mom, all the while I've created things, and have found my niche. It can take awhile to find who you are, but always look for the joy in all you do. Is there anything you look forward to ? Start there !

I believe God gave each of us a purpose in life and that is to be kind to others and show them that our hearts are here to be loving and giving, and not take life for granted...when you smile at someone in the store or just give a homeless guy a dollar, you know in your heart that is what love is all about..
