do u think that the white race is losing the ethnic race?

nowadays, companies are required to hired minorities even if they are less qualified than the more qualified white person. im not like all KKK and white power, but i think that the white race is being shunned upon and we are losing and who knows what happens, just wondering if i am crazy or not

I don't think your crazy at all, but I wouldn't let that hinder you.There are positives and negatives to every race. Every race wants to blame other races for there problems but it is each individual person do or not doing something that causes a problem. Though I do believe people should be the best qualified to get the job or into a school instead of an even racial pool.

I don't think they are 'required' to hire minorities, but they are rather 'suggested' to consider diversity.

If minorities are less qualified, they will more likely not get hired anyway. By the way, how do you know when you are more qualified than another person? I mean really, say, you both have the same education and experience, the company may look for something beyond that. Personalities, maybe?

Can't answer the crazy question. It took me very many years to realize what the minority community was talking about with regard to harassment and prejudice issue. If you think that we whites are having it bad, then you are just beginning to see some of the questions that other folks have had to deal with themselves for a very long time. We've had it so good for so long that ANY interference with the status quo is interpreted as a shun as you put it. We will have to do a better job of understanding one another. The planet is not getting any bigger. If you look at a society such as Iraq you can see what generation after generation of prejudice and hatred can become.

It's a matter of American culture, well-off (usually well-educated) people tend to have few children, while poorer people seem to have very large families.

Perhaps we shouldn't be so focused on race, but on encouraging people to only have the number of children they can afford to raise (and not just financially), that way more children will get more attention, better nutrition and better educations - and maybe we can forget about the 'race' issue altogether.

It is possible that white people are starting to get the short end of the stick. I believe in real equality. The best person for any particular job should get the job, regardless of race or sex or appearance, or any other discriminating factor. That is real equality.

well we are getting fatter and dumber if thats what you mean. but you're right, we are sort of becoming a minority, which we sort of deserve for being so discriminatory. i mean im proud to be white and all but we have done some pretty horrible things to other races.
