I hope you can show them that you are a better person then they are by ignoring their stupidity. We all need to give everyone a chance, if they blow it its their loss not yours !!
Do not give up, there are alot of good people who are color blind, you dont want to miss out on meeting them.

I have thought about this. I'm not sure what any other racial group is displaying for emotion toward this man, so I will assume that this man is in an area where everyone is white, except him. Well, common sense would tell me that he would be ignored, which would be devaluing, but I don't think that rises to the level of being treated bad or looked down upon. White people ignore each other all the time, it is expected. So what is happening that would take this soul to this level of public rebuke? The only thing I can think of is that he is holding his...private parts in his hand while out in public. Standing out in public with a fondling death grip in your crotch is enough to get everyone to treat him badly and look down upon him. I don't consider that situation a racial thing, but more of a group of people wishing any man of any color to try to act like a grown man, attempt to remember without constant reassurance what the Lord has given him, and put away his toys.

hmmm...my first thought to this question is he does if he chooses to allow his own behavior predicated by the behavior of others. Then I thought, hmmm..."every white person he encounters?" How often does he "encounter" white people? I would suspect constantly unless he lives in an isolated area. The way the question is posed suggests that the black person, perhaps, finds that which he seeks. If we look for the negative, we will find it. If we think people don't like us, we will find ways to justify our opinions. Some people think a smile is friendly and well-intended while others see the same smile as a smirk. Some people hear laughter and think the world is laughing with them, while others will think the world is laughing at them. Who's right? hmmm...Perhaps the "black person who is treated badly, or looked down upon by every white person he encounters" should look inward, if not to see what others see, at least to see what he sees in himself.

That's a very big "If"....too big to be believable. I find it hard to conceive that every white person this guy runs across treats him badly. Could it be that this guy is running around angry, and with a great big chip on his shoulder, inviting everybody (not just whites) to treat him that way?
This is 2006, it's time for racial prejudice to be a thing of the past. The only race that needs to be recognized anymore is the Human Race.

I highly doubt that every single white person you come across treats you badly. I think that fact that you are assuming that makes you the racist one. It is racist to assume that all white people hate black people. That would be like a white person saying that all black people are on welfare. That is an untrue statement and a racist one at that. Sadly it is people like yourself that are adding fuel to the racism fire. You can't stop racism by being racist yourself.

What does "a right" have to do with anything. You choose who you want to be. If you want to let how others treat you dictate to you who you will be than, that is your choice.
I was beaten up when I was 7 years old by 4 black teenage girls. Does that mean I have a right to be prejudiced now?
I'm not prejudiced. I choose the person I want to be, and being prejudiced is not what I want to be.

i think alot of blacks have it easier now than they did a long time ago, they have the government paying for some stuff if they cant afford it and they get section 8 housing so they can get moved outa gang ridden areas
i think that when a black person talks in ebonics, anyone will look down upon him, cause they sounds dumb like they are uneducated.
and if they dress like gang bangers, then no one will wanna do business with them, same reasons white trash are looked down upon.

Yes he does, but by doing so he plays into the sick game of the racists. They force him to play the game their way, by their rules. He ends up only reacting to them.
Just ignore the racists. I know it's hard but ignore them.

Must we fight fire with fire? Absolutely not. Right is right and wrong is wrong, and just like it is wrong to lie, cheat, and steal, it is wrong to discriminate against and/or hate others because of the color of their skin, their religion, etc.
