I give to the local Goodfellow Fund, a non profit human services agency in my area and the Area Agency on Aging Wheels on Meals program. My donations have tapered off in recent years due to my own limited income but this year I will give a donation to all of them regardless of how much money i have left.
Every year with the goodfellow fund at minimum I try to buy a paper that they sell on the street.
The area agency on aging can often obtain matching funds from our local newspaper.
I work at the non profit and volunteer for many events in addition to adopting children/adults with physical disabilities, that are receiving services from our agency for the holidays through of Gift Wish List Program.

I believe that giving is one of the best things that you can do-whether it be your time or your money it is a selfless act that i would encourage all to do.

I give to several different Animal Rescue agencies. I've also volunteered at these agencies and have done Animal Rescue on my own, since I was 15 years old (I'm 45 years old now).

I ask my family and friends (even my Husband) for Christmas and for my Birthday instead of buying me gifts, I ask that people would either donate money and/or food to their local Animal Shelters and for people to also put food outside in the Winter for the wild animals who are looking for food which is scarce during the cold months.

Have a lovely rest of the evening.

St. Judes Children's Hospital. The company I work is a big contributor and I had the opportunity to visit and tour the hospital last Spring. (Tough place to visit but makes you a better person) I was amazed to find out they have an 80% survival rate.

Yes. I don't make much money, but when I have an extra twenty, instead of blowing it at McDonald's, I get on this computer and send it to World Vision, so the little children in poverty can eat too.
