Yes I am. We are way to politically correct.
Look at the comedian Kramer. Apologizing on tv with Jessie Jackson by his side. Excuse me, but vulgar rap singers (who are black) use the "N" word all the time. I do not see Mr. Jackson giving THEM a visit!

I'm not necessarily for or against the whole idea but I do think that it is a companies own prerogative what they are going to say. If everyone else wants the freedom to believe whatever they choose than, they must also keep in mind that other people can do so as well. You can chose to ignore those that you do not agree with. No one can force their beliefs on you though. i don't think that is what this companies are doing. They are only wishing a happy holidays using a saying that has been around since the birth of this nation. It's only a positive saying anyways whether or not you believe in that religion.

Why are people allowing the PC police dominate what they do? They say you can't say Merry Christmas, so say it anyway. How are they going to find out and what would they possibly do to you? They're not holding a gun to your head at any point. They only have as much power as you give them.
Honestly the greeting doesn't bother me either way. I like "Merry Christmas" but I don't have anything against "Happy Holidays" or "Season's Greetings" either.

Who the hell cares? Everyone needs to chill a bit more and stop making such a mess over 2 different expressions and 4 words, only FOUR WORDS, that are meant to spread joy and happiness and bring a smile to us for a second. But no, we have to make such a big deal out of it until we start hating each other. Good job Bill O' Reilly. Merry Christmas, Happy holidays, just smile and say 'thank you'.

i glance at it like this: Say you're an American living in England. could you get indignant whilst human beings say "satisfied Boxing Day"? it would desire to be a lame occasion yet i'm no longer able to think of of the rest. Anywho, no, you ought to not get indignant. it is broadly celebrated of their usa. you reside of their usa, settle for that they produce different holiday journeys. So, Christmas is an American holiday...enable individuals want you a Merry Christmas. 'reason it is usa. yet particular, satisfied holiday journeys, that's ok. it is in basic terms a cashier wishing it to you, you do no longer would desire to take it heavily, they might desire to.

Standing ovation. Now if other stores would follow through. i am an agnostic and it bothers me that people say that because of people like me they need to stop saying Merry Christmas. i celebrate Christmas like everyone else. i completely agree that those companies that have gone back to saying Merry Christmas will definitly be getting my money this "Holiday" season, and those that don't ... well Merry "No Sales" Christmas to them.

Why does anyone care what some company that just wants your money says in their commercials? They would say anything if they thought it would get another person to come in through their doors. There is no war on Christmas, it's just retailers trying to suck up to who ever they think will make them more money. Do you really think that Walmart cares about Jesus or anything Christmas stands for besides shopping?

It isn't necessarily about being politically correct, more about including everybody, instead of just christians. There are other holidays than christmas this time of year, and a lot of us exchange gifts even if we don't celebrate the birth of your messiah.

ABSOLUTELY! People who don't like Christmas.... stay inside!
The nerve of people to even complain about this greeting! And the ignorance to allow them to get away with it for so long!
MERRY MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL!
