a lot of people do because they dont understand the bad or need someone to blame instead of looking at the whole picture.

Not me. How could I blame God for the loss of my job? Hell, I'M the ONE who hit dude in the head with that hammer. I told him he better leave me alone. And when I lost a loved one, he was pretty old.

Since I have lost my mother and my job, I still do not blame God. When I lost my mother, God let me know that she was in heaven and was happier with Him. Also, when I did lose my job, the Lord let me know he had a better one for me.

My first girlfriend died, and we used to pray every night too..... Afterwards I got really angry with God and at one moment at a religious camp, of all places, I was out in the middle of a field all by myself kneeling before a cross with an image of Jesus on it and I was cursing and swearing at it. But as I collected myself and looked at the cross and saw the image there I just wondered, "Why on earth would you die for me? I don't deserve it".... And I kind of realized that Christ died for people who didn't deserve salvation.... Then I took the next step - how can I curse God, likely for something not even done by his own hand, if he did something so merciful and loving for me? Being angry at God, I realized, is like being angry at a righteous person who jumped in front of you and took a bullet for you. Whenever something bad happens now, I never get upset at God. I can't.

you should not blame God because if you look at it most of the bad things come from the actions of other people or from our own actions. We do things that have consequences and God lets us chose what to do. You sin, you pay you repent, you are saved

those that blame God do not understand what "free will" means. to be sad when one dies and goes to a greater place is selfish...you should feel joy for the person for moving on to a better place....not feel sorry that YOU can't see them anymore. that is selfish.
God does not cause, change or create what man does on this earth....all of that is controlled by free will.

The idea is that God should be doing something about "bad things". He supposedly does "miracles," so why doesn't he ever stop wars or disasters or anything like that? Losing your job is one thing, but what about things like 9/11 or the Holocaust?

I have, but I don't any more its natural, people want to blame someone else for things that are out of our control, and who is in control? God. Most of the time we as people don't know how to react and sometime don't realize it's for the best. If you believe in God and in Jesus Christ you know he is in control and does what is best for you and others, whether you like it or not.It is like parents we don't like there rules but they protect us with them.
