In the beginning of the new testament Jesus talks about the fullfillment of the laws. and if you do not surpass that of the Pharisees you will certainly not go to heaven. Thats a bit of a shocker. Were the Pharisees good, or bad. Is this simple or hard. If you do your best will you get to heaven? And aside from that He said something about if you look at someone (a woman), you have commited adultery, so you should gouge out your eye. Should I really do that?

I saw it in a movie, I think. It's a hollow cylinder about 4 inches long. The guy stuck his index finger in one end of this cylinder, and someone else stuck their finger in the other end, and somehow their fingers got stuck in the little cylinder. I think there's some kind of special way to make the cylinder release, too. Does anyone know what it's called?

I was taught that the serpent of Eden was Satan, and this seems to be commonly accepted by Christians, but the actual text is pretty clearly just talking about serpents.

Is there a Biblical basis for calling the snake "Satan" in this context?

i work at this store in my town its called The Pharm and we have a pharmacy and some grocerys but no clothing.

but anyways i work back by video,lottery and ciggerets and i'm also a cashier back there too.

i have to answer the phone when no one is in the front office and i get the rudest people on the phone.

one guy asked me if we had any books of matches. i told him we did and then he asked how many so i went to look and when i got back on the phone with him and tried to explain they come in a package of so many books he wouldn't hear me out. so i told him "yes we have books of matches" then i hung up on him.
then you have actual customers who are rude to you when you try to scan things as quick as possible. i have to hand scan everything. then get mad when i can't cash out a gift card.
they don't understand somethings can't be done back here. like WIC and foodstamps.i do get the nice people who are patient and understanding how i have to do things.but y are peeps like this

Islam: An intolerant, inconsistent fallacy

This is not from a christian or jewish perspective; I thought I would get that out of the way to begin with.

Is Islam a religion where you have to check "free-thinking" at the door and embrace a tyranical, murderous, intolerant worldview?

IMO: YES!

1. How can the Koran be the infallable word of God when it contains nonsense like the earth is flat and the sun moves around the earth.

2. How can it be said that Mohammed was a loving and compassionate man yet he killed, robbed and sadisticly tortured people. ie: a man was murdered for making fun of Mohammed in poetry.
Also, Mohammed tortured and punished some by chopping of their arms and legs, burning out their eyeballs and killing them slowly in the harsh elements of the desert.

3. Why do Muslim claim that Mohammed was a liberator of women when it is taught that women are:
a) inferior to men
b) must obey their husbands - or be dealt with harshly
c) Mohammed said that hell was filled with women due to disobeying their husbands
d) Husbands can beat them because Allah promotes this in the koran.
e) Have no essential rights like child-custody and the right to divorce.
f) Court testomony is worth only half of the testomony of a man.
g) She has no autonomy, first her father controls her then her husband.
h) Allah wants them to stay at home and not to came out.
i) They are forbidden to join ceremonies such as funerals.
j) The Koran speaks only towards man as if woman arent full human beings.

4. How can Muslims say that Mohammed was a perfect human-being or even a good man and his example should be followed when it is known that he did a 9-year old girl when he was 53?
Don't many muslims follow this example because the best muslims should follow the Sunna?


5.How can it be said that Islam is a religion of peace and love when the koran teaches that non-believers are forbidden to be friends of muslims and in fact the koran promotes killing them and otherwise abusing them?

Am I old or have I wittnessed terms like gay, queer, retard, ni**er,
etc. , used in common conversation...for example 20 years ago "that's gay, you are gay "etc. was not meant as you are a homosexual you are so happy etc.
Calling people gay is kind of on the outs .and I understand it was not often used top be cruel.
I notice that particular attention is paid to an issue before it is consciously addressed like bi-racial families are not an issue at all when 20 years ago it was a death sentance in some places
CAN PEOPLE PLEASE ADDRESS THE WORD RETARD ???
