When I say respect I do not mean " I agree or admire." I mean 'get along with' without insulting or unwise abusing each other. Like the term "respect for life." and yes we should respect all life on this planet too. Maybe we could do one good thing for someone(or more). I hope you have the kind of day you love- Peace.

Well Idiotd.. so does the bible...“If thy brother, the son of thy mother, or thy son, or thy daughter, or the wife of thy bosom, or thy friend, which is as thine own soul, entice thee secretly, saying, Let us go and serve other gods . . . thou shalt surely kill him; thine hand shall be first upon him to put him to death, and afterwards the hand of all the people . . . If thou shalt hear . . . Certain men . . . have withdrawn the inhabitants of their city, saying, Let us go and serve other gods . . . Thou shalt surely smite the inhabitants ofthat city with the edge of the sword, destroying it utterly, and all that is therein, and the cattle thereof, with the edge of the sword” (Deuteronomy13:6-15).

but maybe you will say the new testament changes that. if the new testament makes the old one obsolete then thats the biggest contradictin in the bible

I'm a single parent of a toddler.Please advice on which State has the most potential for me n my child in terms of cost of living, education, jobs,health care, accommodation n etc...We wish to move to where it's also safe.However since we're moving from a city, too much "quietness" would also dampen our spirits.

Based on what I've read and heard, I used to think that Islam was against terrorism and martyrdom, and it was only a few idiot fanatics that gave it a bad name, but recently I've been hearing, and reading about extracts from the Koran that actually adheres to terrorism and war against those who don't believe in Mohammad.

How about he puts his hand in his own pocket. I bet his sunglassed would feed 50 African families. I feel for these people but I am a strong believer in charity begins at home. We are really struggling to survive on my husbands wages but are still not classed as a low income family. I read a leaflet from the council the other day and I can get help with housing if I am an asylum seeker, drug addict, ex offender, or single mum. I am non of these so I don't count!

I am a Second generation 100% Italian-American born in Brooklyn..so I qualify. My Dad's family all from Naples and my Mother's all from Castellamare Del Golfo in Sicily.

Nick names like, "Louie The Lug" "Vinnie Bombatz" "Pissy Eyes"
"Two Ton Tony", "PF" "Wops down below", "Mamaluca", "Frankie Pappa", "Jackie Angels", "Frankie Boy", "Che Che" and a name like "Tony Ronzonni-Sono Buoni" ... they all have an individual story connected to them, each one is a gem ... i.e. "Pissy Eyes" from Bari, he got his nick name because his eyes would start to tear up a little, every time he got a great polka hand...needless to say no one ever told him that for years and years. Such is part of the Italian-American cultural dynamic.

Yet there was a time my people suffered greatly due to prejudice and descrimination...but now since the movie "The Godfather I II & III not to mention The Sporanos...now everybody is eating Pizza and wants to be Italian !! Amazing!
