Hilarious!

The idea that God is an oversized white male with a flowing beard who sits in the sky and tallies the fall of every sparrow is ludicrous. But if by 'God' one means the set of physical laws that govern the universe, then clearly there is such a God. This God is emotionally unsatisfying...it does not make much sense to pray to the law of gravity.

Bizzaro, you're obviously an intelligent and inquisitive being. The Bible is just a man-made play script, with several actors God, Devil, Jesus, Satan, Adam, Eve etc, and of course some intriguing imaginary places like Heaven, Hell, Purgatory and Limbo.

I certainly don’t believe in the Bible and I doubt any reasonably intelligent person would either. However, if you view the Bible as a man-made play script, with several actors God, Devil, Jesus, Satan, Adam, Eve, Noah, and so on, then you can certainly start to see a clever interwoven plot, that the audience is unaware of. It’s really just a drama thriller with clever twists.

You see, if you seriously think about it in an unbiased manner, then clearly the actor God in the Bible could really be the Devil, and the audience (religious believers) are being sucked into being the bad guys, who then use religion to get everyone fighting each other.

On the other hand, the more intelligent audience (Atheists) spot the plot and try their best to teach believers that this is just nonsense, stop getting sucked in. Some people have over time decided that the play is real. That's very sad.

Can you see some of the things that science teaches, like oxygen or gravity? No, but you can see the books that teach you about them. You can also see how they affect us in everyday life: we know gravity is there because we see that objects don't fly off into space. Likewise, we know that God is there because we see His affect on people. We also see His beautiful creation all around us. God is all around us as well, just like air and gravity. We can read about Him in His book: The Living Word of God, which still applies to everyday life thousands of years later. Though science will change and theories will be proven wrong, the Bible will never need to be altered. It will always be true, it will always apply, it will be constant for eternity. Therefore, it is much more reliable than science.

You asked where is God? For the majority of the population, God is in everyone of us ,being created in His imagine as stated in the bible. But, God for some can be an image, God can be a thought, God can be doing work for the better of humanity. God is many different aspects to many people. You, see God and Jesus no where. So for you they aren't any where. But, remember the heart, when you feel things that are of grave importance to you, when you have emotional feelings for others and their well being, when you put others first, when you give more for the benefit of others than you thought you were capable of :that is God my friend.

God is rigt in front of me, god is in the coockie Im eating, in the rain that is falling, in my cat that is yelling, god is everywhere. Even on the murders commited every day and the car crashes and thefts. But is also on every baby birth, on every charity act, on any act of love, right?
What is God anyways? "God" (Im sure) has a special and unique meaning for everyone of us.
So depending on that Special meaning, god will be in different places, huh?
For me I think of God as a huge ammount of energy functioning as a mind, and some part of that is present in any act, in everyhing actually.

Well, we might not be able to explain in total contempt to a non-believer the xact location of the Messiah, but at least we don't speak in an annoying third-person with bad grammar. And if you speak for the voice of science, what kind of image is that to pin to your beloved chemicals and weapons?

where is science? does it have legs? does it call you on the phone? does it talk to you on the nightly news? or does it blow through the trees, or move water up and down on the ocean. does it pull you toward the center of the earth, or does it tell you that you have a mind? does it make you think that killing someone is wrong, or that helping someone who can't help themselves is right? or can science repeat the big bang? can it quantify the big bang? can it prove evolution? no.
