i believe some things are unforgivable.. such as murder rape and abuse.... but alot of christians say that as long as you "repent for your sins" you will go to heaven. but killing people unless under the right circumstance is unforgivable. why do people think that they can commit all the crimes they want and still go to heaven anyways? i mean, if i do go to heaven, i dont want to be with a ton of murderers or rapists. the whole concept just confuses me. anyone wanna shed some light on the subject?

I'm doing research on the Quinceanera (the Hispanic 15th birthday celebration for girls), and I'm reading that Scripture passages are selected to read during the girl's Mass. The selections seem to be an individual thing. What Bible verses are good for a Quinceanera?

I don't know about you, but I actually do believe in what Criss Angel does. You might think it's tricks, or Illusions, but maybe.... theres something else....... Criss Angel tells us what you want to know as you watch his show, the name of the show speaks for itself. Criss is not a fake he is just in touch with his inner self.

Maybe he's God?
Maybe's he's the the Devil
Does he have Demons in side of him? (says my sisters bf)
Is he a demon?

Whatever the answer, he's hot as hell!

Hence the proliferation of so many so called Reality Shows. Contrary to public opinion, the purpose of commercial television is not to inform the people with information that is relevant to their lives. It is to substitute fantasy for reality, lies for truth; entertainment for knowledge. The programming that most of us watch is not the primary purpose of television. Commercials—capitalism—are the primary reason for the existence of television. Even public television is not immune from heavy-handed manipulation from the Whitehouse and corporations.

Jesus talked about forgiving people for their sins and giving $$ and food to people in need. He was also against death and war. Ever hear the saying "republicans will tell you what jesus said, but democrats will do what jesus said" ? Well, it is true. So if any hardcore christian supports our president, the war, and votes republican, I believe according to your religion you are going to burn in hell.

.......do people make such a big fuss when they find out that a girl is not a virgin and make her go through hell, yet men are just left alone, just because "they're men"??? I'm referring to most African cultures who value virginity and strongly emphasise on "no sexual relations before marriage." It makes it seem as if that phrase is only referring to the females. Men and women are the same. A friend called me and said he wasn't happy and i asked him why, and he says he found out on his honeymoon with his new wife that she wasn't a virgin, and i asked if HE was one before the engagement and he say, "....no, and it doesn't really matter, because I'M A MAN......." think about it people, sex before marriage DOES refer to both male and female, why the pressure on the ladies ALL THE TIME.....i'm mainly referring to the African cultures.

Why do you feel that other belief systems do not belong here, why does it have to be such a holy war? I respect that you are Christian, please respect that just because someone is not, or has a belief different from you that they are bad or "going to hell". How does someone believing different than you threaten you in any way? I just don't get it.

Are they just ignorant? I have Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, Tourette Syndrome, & Generalized Anxiety Disorder. My family falsely accuse me of being schizophrenic & crazy because they do not understand. They also tell me that no one is going to cater to me, and that I have to conform to society, and that I use my disability as an excuse for my symptoms of the disorders. The symptoms of the disorders are the behaviors. This is really getting to me. Also, many people are telling me that no one is going to hire me on the job. If my family feel like I'm crazy, then why do they get upset when I do what's not normal? Ex: washing my hands 50 times/day. Why do I deserve to be excluded from society because of my personality?

I'm a very good person, and I'm the 1st person in my family to get a college degree. I don't expect to live off of low income & be dependent all my life. I want to be an INDEPENDENT woman and do things for myself. I'm tired of being on SSI & Social Security.

Religious people, do you find Yahoo Answers a good way to relieve your violent tendencies. It’s a well known fact that religion is the biggest cause of violence, wars, murder, and hatred, since humanity began. Even the Bible is no different as it seems to encourage such behaviour. Just read Genesis for example.

I notice a lot of anger and hatred seems to be an inherent quality of religious people all over the world, and it’s pleasing to see so many Atheists trying to help and encourage religious people away from such folly.

I feel that Yahoo Answers may well be a good way for religious people to relieve themselves of their warring nature rather than killing innocent human life.

I'm all for free speech, but I wouldn't want my child asking me what some of these images are supposed to be. We don't allow pornography on billboards or on public storefronts. We make convenience stores cover up the covers to porn mags. So why is it ok for people to put these vinyl decals on their cars? Who thinks people should do this? Who thinks this is wrong or offensive?

Although I'm straight, I feel as if the LGBT community and those living in it are some of the most misunderstood individuals in the Universe. People "in the lyfe" have the hardest time doing anything. Why do you all think that is? How does this make u feel?
