I Have Noticed The Last Past Few Days That My Two Year Old Daughter Has Body Odor. I'm Not Going To Sit Here And Say That We Give Her A Bath As Much As We Should Because We Live Busy Lives (No Excuse I Know) But None The Less She Atleast Gets A Bath Once Every Other Day. Anyway I Tryed Giving Her A Bath And Within A Few Hours Of Playing (Not Even Rough Play) She Started To Get BO Like A Grown Adult. Sometimes It's So Bad That We Can't Even Stand To Be In The Same Room With Her Without Giving Her A Bath. She Is A Normal Child And Eats Foods That Are Doctor Approved. Fruits, Veggies, Juice, Water And Anything Else That Normal Children Eat. I Just Don't Understand What I Should Do. I Have Read Some Other Peoples Questions About Other Issues Like This One. No I Have Not Tryed Baby Powder. It Just Seems Odd That A Child So Young Could Have This Issue. Any Comments And Insite Would Help. Thanks.

I stay at home with my 26 month old daughter and I'm running out of ideas for things to do. Today I tried to make cookies with her but she kept eating huge handfuls of dough and threw a fit when I made her stop. I try going outside and playing in the snow and make a snowman, but she just wants to dig in the neighbor's mulch. Coloring or reading can't hold her attention for longer than 1 minute, but she can sit in front of the TV watching kids movies quite happily! I really don't want her to watch kids TV ALL day and I'm having problems coming up with things to do. Any tips?

Can I sue the school for allowing this to take place? He could have seriously hurt himself, and teacher called makeing light of the situation to so-call warn me when he comes home with plugs taken out of his head. I am totally against five year olds being unsupervised especially when it is my son. He could have seriously hurt himself.

Okay, my son, for the past month, has been coughing up a storm, starting about 30 minutes after going to bed at night. Most nights, this results in him coughing so bad he gags and throws up. He's always had asthma that is triggered by changes in weather, and the weather has not been the same from one day to another.

But someone suggested to him that our son has acid reflux, and we're getting him in to see a pedi GI, but he can't be seen until after the new year.

What are some ways, if this is really acid reflux, that we could help keep it under control until after the beginning of January? Any tips, whether they refer to a change in what he eats, things we can do to ease it, or something OTC that is safe for use in 6-yr-olds would be helpful.

Thanks!

My son is 4 and ever since he has been potty trained I have put him in those 'little-boy' brief underwear. How long did your sons wear those? I think he might want to wear boxers but I don't know the right time to change over to those. What do you think the best style of underwear for little boys are? And where do you purchase these? Right now I go to Target to get the briefs.

Our 2.3 y/o daughter is not a great eater (pretty much eats the same chicken, yogurt, p/b sandwich, and anything crunch 'chip' ... we limit to vegchips, air popcorn, vegcorn). But, her #1 choice is milk all of the time day/night. We're offering/giving her water, (mineral) bubble water as alternative...sometimes we'll add sugarfree cyrlstal light. But...she always prefers milk over anything to eat or drink. This morning she had a total meltdown because we woul would not giver her a second cup of milk...she had not touched any of her breakfast. Same thing over dinner last night.... We're ready to go 'hard core' w/ her...but, would welcome any/all suggestions....

He's 15 months and a super-good kid. But, there are a couple areas in the house, a couple of things he does that are just not okay (like pulling the cord for the tv out of the wall). We tell him "no", smack his hand and take him away from the area to get him interested in something else. He laughs and starts walking back to the area while I'm still standing right there.

We've very rarely had to say no to him because he's such a good boy... does he just not understand? He seems to think it's a game, it's fun.

But it's obviously a safety hazard. I don't want to just put a piece of furniture or something in front of the area... that's not going to teach him no, that's just going to hide the problem. Then when we go to grandma's house or somewhere else he still won't realize that playing with cords is not okay.

Any suggestions?

My daughter turned 2 in Sept. I ask her all the time if she needs to go potty and she says yes but either refuses the chair or just doesnt go. Thing is, before she turned 2 she would take her diaper off and go potty on it, not every time but enough that I thought shed be pretty easy. Rewards, stickers, praise, big girl underwear dont seem to matter. Any ideas?

1- my boys are 13 months old. How many naps a day should they be having now? And how long? what is the latest They should get up from their nap if I want them in bed by 8:30?

2- We use to have a nanny that was with us since they were 2 months old. Now we have a new one who has only been with us for 2 days. I know this must be very hard on my little boys, so far they scream if she even takes a step close to them. They are ok if I am in the room but if I even go to the bathroom and they're alone with her they cry. They wont let her hold them, change clothes or diaper, wash their hands..nothing. Is there anything I can do to help my boys adjust to this big change easier on them? things are very hard on them, AND ME, right now.
( I know for a fact she isnt hurting them or anything like that...they just dont know her and miss the last one. )
