More than likely, yes. Some babies only walk independently a bit after a year old. In a few months, if he/she still isn't walking, then see a doctor about it. Both my sisters started walking at around a year old or just a bit before. I was walking at nine months old, but from what I read/heard, walking too early can lead to crooked legs, and indeed, my legs aren't as straight as my sisters who walked later.

Yes this is normal. All children develop and start walking at different ages. My first son didnt start walking until he was 16 months old, My second son started at 14 months, My third son started at 17 months old. So yes its normal and there is nothing to worry about but if you work with your son or daughter he or she will get the idea of how to walk independently and it takes time and when they do take their first step its always amazing.

Perfectly normal, some babies walk at 9 months some at 15 months. Both my children walked at different ages. Your baby will walk when he or she is ready. Just enjoy your baby and don't go by what other people think the baby should be doing.

Yes, this is normal. And no offense to the male species, but if he is a little boy it is totally normal. Even if she is a girl I had a neice who would walk until she was about 14 months. So don't worry about, just work with the baby through out the day and I promise you will see results.

Absolutely! My son didn't walk until 17 months. Once they start, you kind of wish they couldn't...:)

Just get ready for when that day comes. Baby proof higher up, move items to even higher shelves.

Remember that often walking leads to climbing within a matter of weeks, so be diligent!

All kids develop at a different pace. My son started walking at 9 months my best friends kid just starting crawling at 15 months. It just depends on the kid. Trust me once they walk, than run, than climb. Its a scary road after that(lol)

yes all babies are different i have twin gals they didn't walk till two weeks after their first birthday,my brother walked at ten months. When you have lil ones you always worry if they are doing the right things at the right time, they will do it in their own time.
