I have 3 boys 3, 5, and 7. We let them get in the hot tub but it is set at 98 degrees. That way it doesn't raise their body temperature. If it is higher their cheeks get red and I can tell they are warming up. Also if you have a hot tub you should look at using peroxide instead of chlorine. It makes the hot tub so much nicer. No chemical smell!

Depends on their age, the temperature of the water and only ever if there is close parental supervision, ie. a parent in the tub with them. Being "around" but not in with them is not close enough to haul them out of such a deep pool.

Children seem to love the warmth and the bubbles, but if they were to slip off the "seats" they stand on, they will sink rather than attempt to swim if they are non-swimmers.

Absolutely not. Their skin burns at a lower temperature than an adults would, the heat can cause them to get heat stroke, etc. There's no reason for a toddler to be in a hot tub.

No. For one thing their bodies can't take the temp and for two- hot tubs are gross. They breed bacteria.

Not if the temp is high. They cant handle the heat and often there is bacteria breeding in the hot atmosphere which may cause them body rashes.

No, their smaller bodies can't regulate their temperature as well as an adult and they could get WAY too hot before you know it.
