My son is 4 and ever since he has been potty trained I have put him in those 'little-boy' brief underwear. How long did your sons wear those? I think he might want to wear boxers but I don't know the right time to change over to those. What do you think the best style of underwear for little boys are? And where do you purchase these? Right now I go to Target to get the briefs.

Whatever they are most comfy in I suppose. My son (will be 3 in Feb.) has both briefs and boxer briefs. He prefers the boxer briefs but only b/c that's what daddy wears.

My twin grandsons love to wear boxer shorts. The only problem that you will run into is that the don't fit right with clothes on. They are as long as or longer than most shorts they wear. And they bunch up in their jeans. They are real great to sleep in. You can find them at most retailers. I have bought theirs at both Target and Wal-Mart. They are 7 now and prefer the briefs. But you just have to buy them and let your son decide on his own. After all he is the one wearing them. He will let you know if they bother him.

We are starting my 4 year old grandson in boxers. He refuses to wear briefs. (He's autistic and verrry picky about stuff like that.) So I would say you can put the little guy in boxers whenever you want. Maybe let him pick some out himself. (Aidan loves his spiderman boxers. He wore them to bed last night over his pajama's and diaper.)

my son wears boxer briefs he has since the summer and hes 4 buy him one pack and put them on and see what he thinks mine asked for boxers like daddy

I think boxer briefs are best, because they aren't too tight, but provide enough support.

I let my little man choose his little undies. I perfer he wears the boxer breifs right now but then maybe as he gets older he could switch on his own.

Boys dont care! Just get his favorite character. You can just always ask him, he is old enough I am sure. My 4 year old picks out his own underwear.. and he is fine with that.
