I have twins age 2 and a son age 5. I was wondering if anyone knew of any christian sites that might help me teach them the Christmas Story. My son knows a bit but gets confused. I was hoping to find a site that shows pictures and possibly reads or writes out the story. Not sure where to post this so if its the wrong place sorry! I tried googling but didnt find anything I really liked

Hello, well like the title says. I have an almost 2 year old girl who has always slept in her own mini bed next to us. Her mother wanted it this way,and I understood. Now its time for us to move her bed into her own room, and I dont see this working so smoothly, she is a very light sleeper and almost nightly walks out of our room when she sees that we are not their. any suggestions to make this transaction a little easier?

My 14 month old isn't walking on his own yet. I know that he'll do it when he is ready, but it's getting hard to do things with him, like go outside, without having to use a stroller. He's miserable sometimes because he is bored, due to limited things to do. I encourage him as much as I can, by holding his arms and walking with him, he has a push toy that encourages walking, and he holds on to things like the couch, but as soon as he knows you've let go of his hands, he sits. Am I encouraging him right?

I am ultimately going to get an o.k. by her physician before I dare put the poor thing on cereal. but I was just curious, how young can you start putting a little cereal in their bottles? She is 6 weeks old and all she does is EAT EAT EAT and she is miserable if she doesn't have a full belly. Not to mention that I am trying to supplement formula as I am in short supply lately of my breastmilk due to stress and going back to work. Then, she refuses the bottle too because she just wants the breast. I feel that if she was fuller for longer, this would alleviate her hunger pain. Believe me, I put her to breast whenever I can, but she gets frusterated by that because the volume is low. Then I give her the bottle and she doesn't like that but you know she wants it because she will start sucking, but then pull back once she tastes it. she's a little stinker alright. She's just confused I think. I would be too if someone kept switching my food around. Poor little girl. I can't help it though.

Is Montessori better than other choices? Are there certain credentials I should look for? Questions I should ask?

I have a 5 month baby and I want to start her on solids and also give her rice cereal. A nurse told me that since she is slightly overweight the cereal will fatten her up so i should give her only vegetables, but other people tell me that the cereal will not cause her to put on weight. Kindly advise.

It seems like since then he's been disrespectful, disobedient and defiant. He's always been such a sweet and laid back child. He would always do what was asked of him. Now he is throwing tantrums and fits....I don't even recognize my own child when he does this! We also have a new baby in the house that is six weeks old. He seems to accept the baby and has been very sweet to him. Could it be that he is acting out because he is jealous or could this just be a stage?

She wakes up crying every night crying. She takes a 2 hr nap in the daytime. I put her to bed between 8 pm to 9 pm. She's been waking up for quite some time now. I thought she would grow out of it but she still does it. Someone told me she may have a medical condition and I need to get it checked out. Could this be true?

She is really articulate and also sensitive for a 3 year old. I am not worried about the themes, they will probably go over her head, but are there any scary parts? or super sad parts?
