I just have a ton of contractions all the time, I am always physically exhausted, and for the past 2 days I feel nauseated. I just have this terrible fear of my water breaking while working, at the grocery store, walking, etc.

I am prego and I have a two year old. . I live in a studio apartment and I have gotten roaches. I HATE roaches. The smell is really strong and I wanted to know if my un-baby is o.k?? I told my mom and she told me that it could have effected my baby. . .
Please help!!! I did'nt know , they don't want to leave , I tryed combat and I keep the house clean???

My whole body hurts my ears nose,throat, hot and cold all the time. I also have 3 other children to look after i am going to the doctors a bit later as my 3 yr has the same thing bless him. Just wondering if anybody has any ideas. I know i need rest but i cant any of that until the weekend when they go to their dads. Anybody has any pick me up ideas?

I am 29 weeks pregnant, and I have an appointment today where I have to drink that nasty glucose stuff, but also they are checking for some other things. I was in the hospital last Tuesday night with strong braxton hick and they have continued to the point where they are starting to hurt, I was having anywhere from 2-4 an hour all day yesterday, they told me not to go to the hospital unless I had 5 an hour for 2 consecutive hours....does this seem normal for me to be feeling these so strongly yet? Also my entire vaginal area feels like a giant bruise, it hurts to get up, sit down, lay down, anything and everything, what could this be? They said they are checking me for dialation today, isn't it to early? I just dont understand, 2 weeks ago I felt great, why is this happening now? Do you think my baby will be premature?

i've recently found out i'm a month pregnant and its my first kid so i'm not to sure of what exactly to expect. People keep telling me to walk alot and that will help the pregnancy be less difficult when its time to give birth. i am willing to do anything i can to make things easier so where should i go walking that is going to be best for me and the baby. How long should i go walking, how often? and another question. what would be the best things to eat during the first trimester while i'm nauseaus besides crackers.

Ok, so my last appointment was on 12/26 and I was at 38 weeks. This is my second pregnancy, with my first I was induced at 3cm 60%. I have horrible pressure and can hardly move, sit stand, walk, get dressed or do anything. I have contractions every 3-5 min. and they are about 30 seconds to a min each time. The doc said my contractions are not thinning me only dilating me. Is there anything I can do to try to maybe speed this up a bit or help it to move along?
PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!

what can i take, can i take alkaseltzer? what about the sore boobs, they feel like someone is pinching them from the inside out, and the gas is unreal, i have big man burps, but I still have a sore belly. PLEASE HELP, what can i do to make this more enjoyable?

i had this done yesterday around 3 p.m. i spotted a little and feel a little sore, i guess, but really i don't feel any different. i had like a couple of moments of cramping right after my dr. did it and no contractions. did you not feel anything for a while too if it worked for you or is this an idication that this probably isn't going to do anything for me?

It's something I'm thinking of trying when and if I go past my due date (which doesn't look likely at the moment!) I just had a look online and cannot find anywhere that sells it! And please don't preach to me..there is no scientific evidence to suggest it is dangerous, I have done plenty of research!

I read one about if your wee is bright yellow or dull yellow can determine what gender baby you are having.
(personally I think it has more to do with how much water you are drinking!)

Also heard that lots of heartburn can mean having a baby with lots of hair. I always thought this was rubbish but then I read a report that used reasearch to determine that there can be a scientific link due to common hormones or something.

So what old wives tales have you heard? What ones do you believe and what ones are just rubbish!

Just some fun trivia, I'm a little bored, lol!!

Does day one of your cycle have to be when the bleeding is heavy? I am having some bleeding, but it is light, no need for a tampon or anything. Just wondering becuase I have to start my Clomid on day 3.

My boyfriend is at work and has taken my mobile with him because he hasn't got one at the min it's a good job i have a laptop because the electric has gone and i think i may be in trouble i keep getting bad pains and naw i think my ater broke the paines are getting stronger and closer they sttarted at 8-9 mins apart naw they are about 4-5 mins apart and sometimes i feel i need to push help me plz i am worried i am home alone and in labor i need to know what to do!

Well for those of you that have seen my previous questions about my completely irrational fears for my pregnancy, I was totally relieved today to see a wonderfully healthy little 12w 3d old fetus!
Actually saw the little hands and feet and more importantly, the heart beating at 173 bpm!
Baby measured 12w 3d so now have 3 due dates to choose from of :
7th july - 12w3d scan
10th july - LMP
13th July - 7w1d scan

Anyway just wanted to share my news! I'm very happy but still feel so unpregnant and it really hasn't sunk in that I am having a third baby! Arrgggh!!! I'm hoping to feel some kicks in the next few weeks and maybe that will hit it home for me!

Oh and here's my question.....with a high heartbeat of 173bpm, does the old wives tale say boy or girl? I'm getting major girl vibes but hoping I'm wrong and its a boy! (but anything healthy will be great!)

I'm 23, and I just found out I was 6-7 weeks pregnant! I was really happy. I took the test after feeling ill every single day for a few weeks.. Then 3 days ago, Xmas eve, I hit my stomach pretty hard, by tripping and falling into a computer chair.. It wasnt nearly as hard as a punch or anything, but it really freaked me out. I'm worried to death, because the day after I wasnt as nauseated as I usually am, and today either.

Will my baby be okay?? Would symptoms just stop THIS soon or am I having a small break from them? I'm really scared and worried, and I feel like a clumsy idiot. In a previously pregnant womans opinion, or someone very knowledgeable in this field, pleasee tell me if I should be worried. My mom told me theyre tough little buggers, but I didnt tell her what happened.

I take Yaz birth control pills. I normally take my pill every night at 9pm. Once in a while, I may take it at 8:00 or at 10, but I've never been off by more than an hour and a half.

Tonight, I fell asleep at 7pm. I didn't wake up until 1am (4 hours later.) I took my pill, but was not sure if that was the right thing to do.

What is the longest duration from your normal pill time that you should still go ahead and take it? At what point do you just wait until the next day and double up? I ask in case this happens again.

I know if you miss a day and have to double up that its advised to use protection for the next week. Should I use protection for the next week with taking a pill 4 hours later than usual? Would the risk of pregnancy from taking a pill late be much less than having a whole missed day?

ok..so, my dad and stepmom have been married two years. shes a cool person and shes very funny. shes 31 and she never talked about wanting a baby but when i visited them on christmas day ((my two brothers came with me)) my stepmom looked like she was a few months pregnant. last time i visited them was a month ago and her belly looked normal ((she’s a really skinny person)). also she ate a lot at dinner. lol.
