At what time of the day, if you start bleeding, do you consider the next day to be day 1 of your cycle?

The reason I am asking is because I read some where that if it starts after a certain time (ex:4pm) then you consider it the next day. I also work nights, so it can get a little confusing and I am needing to start Clomid on day 3. Thank you.

You are really overthinking this.

If you start bleeding heavier than spotting, that is day one. When you go to bed and wake up the next day, that is day two.

You don't need to be calculating it down to the hour.

If you have more questions, call your doctor.

whatever day you start bleeding is the first day of the cycle. It doesn't matter what time of day or how heavy the bleeding is.

Take today/tommorrow for instance......
If its 11pm and you notice bleeding, its thursday 27th as day one of cycle
If its 2am and you notice bleeding, its Friday 28th as day one of cycle.

I think thats common sense right?

WHEN you start bleeding...that same day is day one. WHY?? because that's the FIRST day you start bleeding. Kind of a no brainer there.

And didn't you JUST post this same question?? You may want to check the answers for that one.
