My boyfriend is at work and has taken my mobile with him because he hasn't got one at the min it's a good job i have a laptop because the electric has gone and i think i may be in trouble i keep getting bad pains and naw i think my ater broke the paines are getting stronger and closer they sttarted at 8-9 mins apart naw they are about 4-5 mins apart and sometimes i feel i need to push help me plz i am worried i am home alone and in labor i need to know what to do!

Come on Liz, it's time to use a little common sense here. If you suspect your water broke and you're contracting you need to get off the computer and call for help, either call the bf, a neighbor, a family member, etc. Call your doctor too and let them know what is happening.

If you don't have a phone and the power is out then go to your closest neighbours house and borrow their phone to either call your boyfriend or call an ambulance.
This might sound silly but maybe go to a neighbours house where a woman lives that has had or has children, just in case things happen quickly. She would know more of what to expect and do for you if she has given birth before.
Don't worry if you've never met your neighbour before. They will help you just tell them the situation and stay calm. Don't stress out, everything will be fine!

Call 911 immediately- any land line phone will be able to dial 911 even if you do not have phone service. Failing that, go to a neighbor's home and call 911.

Liz you need to get to the hospital right away you are in labor, go to your next door neighbor right now and try not to push. Breath slow, easy, deep and don't focus on pain, focus on getting help to the hospital. Wish you luck.

do you have neighbors?
if you do, and they are close, go to one of your neighbors house and ask for the telephone and call an ambulance,
if you dont, relax, breath deeply and really slowly fill the bathtub with warm water and stay in there breathing until your bf arrives or the ambulance or someone

Yes well try to contact 911 or walk out your door and scream and try to get attention and when your done update if its a boy or girl and then get callwave downloaded to your computor its this awesome program that lets you send textmesssages to a another phone not like aim its awesome google it.

Dial 999 immediately. If you've no land line bang on a neighbours door and get them to do it for you.
