Pregnancy - October 2007

My wife and I just found out she is about 10-12 weeks pregnant, however the baby is not in her uterus it is in her abdominal cavity. Apparently the placenta is attached to vital organs. The Dr said there is no chance she could carry the baby full term, about 30% to carry long enough that the baby may survive with help from NICU, and 70% chance my wife could die trying to carry the baby. Her liver and kidney could fail. We have 4 other children between 1 and 12. She thinks abortion is wrong regardless(I always thought so too). I now think we should end this pregnancy before it ends my wifes life and takes my childrens mother from them. She thinks she got pregnant for a reason(she had a tubal after our last child was born) and every child has the right to be born. She won't even really talk to me about it any more. She also hasn't talked to any family members. What would you do? Any suggestions on how to get my wife to see my point or am I wrong and not considering her. HELP

There had been some issues with my on and off girl freind, but we still seem to have a connection which basicly gets me confused as to where we are heading..i had stayed the longest without seeing her which was more than 7 months and one thing lead to another and we had se x, due to too much friction the c odom ripped and basically its like unprotected s ex... I offered to take her to the chemist and buy some p2 pills which is for birth control and she said she has them at her apartment... i trusted her and know she called me after a week and sayed that she didn’t which is totally intentional shes mature enough 19 yrs old, if it comes to worse and gives birth and i do not accept to help her raise the baby will i be a bad person ????????

I couldn't even tolerate the pain associated with my menstral cycle. The pains would make me pass out, vomit everywhere, and I couldn't walk. I ended up having to getting on birth control for it. So how would you all go about labor pains if you were in my shoes?

ok so im 2 wks late...and im having these wierd feelings below my belly button and pains in my abdoman and alotta pressure...and my lower back has been hurting..my nipples are really sensitive..are these signs i could be?

I didnt tear as such, just stretched and bruised. Unfortunately I washed myself with mild shower gel the day after ( i had had an epidural to remove my placenta so I didnt feel any pain at the time) and I dont know whether that has aggravated the bruised, stretched area. Currently I have to pee in the shower to help with the pain.

1) Did I aggravate the problem or is it normal to feel pain when peeing after giving birth?

2) WHat should I use to CLEAN down there?

3) And is there anything I can buy to SOOTHE the pain?

(PS - please dont lecture me about using shower gel - i didnt realise a bruise would become painful. I usually use shower gel down there with no problems at all)

Me and my girlfriend has sex today! Well, I cummed in her (Since she wanted). Now she's worrying about being pregnant. So we decided to go to a Pharmacy! We purchased this pill that was called, "Plan B" She took the pill 4 hours after I had *** in her. Do you think the pill, or the "Plan B" will be that affected? I want to know the answer from females that had been through it before, or some that had used it once. Please help! And, does her age really matter about the pills? Thank you!

I just found out that i was pregnet last week. I am really happy to have a baby but i feel really weird at times like my head would hurt and i have to go pee a lot somtimes my stomach will hurt is that normal? well I just found out I am pregnant after 7 long months of trying to conceive. Now i am just scared about bring a small helpless life into this world. My boyfriend said he would support me no mater if I wanted to give it up for adoption, have an abortion, or keep it. I am going to keep it, but I am just scared I wont be a good mother to my baby but, my boyfriend keeps telling me I will. I have been crying nonstop. I just want to be the mother my mom wasnt. I want to give my baby the world plus everything I didnt have growng up. Am I being over dramatic. Are there any websistes that I can look at to help me through this expeirence. Has anyone else went through this. Any advice will help at this point, thank you, Heather (mommy 2 be)!!! :)

I always feel like something is going to be wrong with my baby.Like health problems or still birth.Im so scared of all these things that could happen.I just feel like something bad is going to happen when she comes out and i dont want to jynks it or drive myself crazy but i cant help the way im feeling...Does or did anyone feel like this??

ok so im on birthcontrol pill and i take it at night. a few weeks ago, i forgot friday night, forgot saturday night and took them both sunday morning. then i had sex sunday night and, on schedule, got my period friday night. but it was very very light, which i heard can happen when youre pregnant. this all happened sept 21-28, and ever since then, ive felt kind of pregnant; really moody, abnormaly dry down there, constipated,etc. i should be getting my period in 12 days, but im so nervous i cant wait. am i pregnant?????

ps i have continued to take the pill since then.

During the first trimester, is there any definitive way a doctor can tell exactly how old your unborn baby is? Is there any room for error? For example, if somebody thought they were only 8 weeks pregnant when in reality they were really 12 weeks pregnant would the doctor know?

I sleep with a pillow between my legs. I wake up about every hour with a lot of pain on the leg that is on the bottom, so I turn over and try to sleep on the other side. The pain is below the knee in that muscle on the back of the leg. My circulation is fine, the leg isn't asleep or anything.

The left leg hurts a lot more than my right. Sometimes when I go to sleep on my right side, (having not laid on the left side in hours) my left leg still hurts. What on earth could be causing this? It is nothing like a charlie horse...

so i really lost my apetite since we broke up yesterday i dont feel like eating... but i migh be pregnant its too soon to tell though... i have to wait another week... but will this state of depression and not beaing able to eat hurt my unborn baby if i am infact pregnant?

I called my doctor, she wants me to come the office first thing in the morning. Which I will do! But in the mean time, I am looking for hope!! However, I dont think there is much of that left!
I think I would be right around 5 weeks pregnant. I started spotting last night, only when I wiped! It started out with a brownish pink with a tiny bit of red clots, (less then a 1/2 an inch long) but today, I need to wear a pad and have light bleeding once again, its not heavy, however it is pink today, no brown and there are still red tiny clots, there also seems to have clear stretchy mucus with the blood, the kind you get when you ovulate. I have very little/light cramping, not really cramping, more like a twinge feeling, now and then! (not all the time) Do you think I am having a miscarriage? I believe that I am? Has anyone else had anything like this and it turned out that everything was ok? Or had anything like this and it was a miscarriage?

I haven't been able to get adequate sleep for two weeks now and I'm 9 weeks pregnant. Is there any positive relationship between insomnia and early pregnancy? I have no nausea or vomiting, no urinary frequency so far. I am very tired during days but wide awake during nights. All non-medication methods of dealing with the sleep problem that I tried have been unsuccessful so far.
