I do not believe that abortion is right in any situation, with the slim exception of the mother's life being in danger and even that is iffy for me becuase I trust in the Lord to provide and I trust in His plan for me.
I find it deplorable when women say that they "accidentally" became pregnant, there is no such thing, we all know that babies are a very real possibility when having any kind of sex, protected and unprotected sex. If you aren't ready to have a child then you aren't ready to have sex!
Many people say that they think it is acceptable to kill an unborn baby in cases of rape or incest due to the circumstances behind the conception of the child. But a counter point to this is that we do not punish rapists and incestors with death, so why do we kill innocent babies for something that they had nothing to do with? There are many people who cannot have children and would love to adopt a newborn baby. Women have 9 months to find a suitable family for a child that they did not anticipate on having.
Unfortunately abortion is legal and many women use abortion as a form of birth control, which in my opinion is irresponsible and insane.

I believe that it's the person's individual choice. So I guess that would make me pro-choice. Sure--there are situations where it is more morally acceptable than other times--but those situations are a small percentage of the abortions that occur every day.
The fact is--it's legal. Whether you morally agree with it or not is the issue with most people. Abortions occur in the millions every single day. Imagine if abortion were illegal. How many of those children would be on the street? How many would be abused by the system? How many would end up in trashcans as infants? How many would be smothered or beaten, because they were unwanted? The fact is that it is a form of population control, and it will never be illegal ever again. It is an individual's personal choice, and it's easy for some people to say how horrible it is, but they've never been put in the position where they've had to choose.

I disagree on it in any situation. I feel like the life is already there and doesn't deserve to be taken away. It's like saying you can take the life of someone under the age of 18, but the day they turn 18 it's all of a sudden a crime. If it's a rape, I still think the person should just give it up for adoption. It would be a very hard thing to go through, but I think if I was raped and had an abortion that would be 2 horrible things I would have to deal with for the rest of my life instead of 1 and I could change the lives of some people that desperately want to have a baby.

I personally disagree with abortion because when two people have consensual sex they should be prepared to take responsibility for their actions. If they aren't ready for the consequences then they shouldn't be doing it in the first place.
However, I also think that there are grey areas. Such as, rape or incest. I think that in those cases, everyone can see why an abortion would be an option.

I can only speak for myself on this subject and I do not push what I believe on anyone else and won't stand for anyone to push what they believe on me. I do not believe in abortion except for certain situations. Such as rape, incest, or if the pregnancy is harmful to the women (medical reasons) I don't however believe if you are willing to lay down and open your legs and happen to get pregnant you shouldn't be allowed to get an abortion. You know there is always a chance to get pregnant when you have sex and if you don't know that then you shouldn't be having sex.
Although I have to say I am glad it is legal because I would much rather a women go to a clinic and professionally get one done then to a back alley. That is just my opinion.

I totally disagree on abortion. You choose to go about having sex, well sex has consequences sometimes and even though that baby is not in the human world it still is alive growing inside of you! Here is a very sad poem on abortion:
My hair is black, my eyes are brown
Mommy, you'd love having me around
It's early yet, the month is one
Though you can;t see me yet, I've just begun
One month later, the month is two
I'm still but a part of you
Time is passing the month is three
I'm getting to be someone as you can see
Still so small that I don't have to hide
I'm just a little seed inside
You'll love me mommy, just wait and see
I'm going to make you proud of me....
....I've got a new home now, the month is seven
Mommy didn't want me, so now I'm in heaven
It's so beautiful, but now I'm gone
I have no memory to carry on
If I were still there now the month would be eight
I was murdered by my mommy's own hand
I guess this is too young to understand
Good-bye mommy, the month would be nine
I would've been living just fine
Although I'm in heaven, I still have to cry
Because of mommy, I had to die.

I am pro-choice to an extent...
I agree if its in the case of rape, incest, major fetal abnormalities, and maternal health issues that would put the mother at risk.
Although most of the reasons I listed above account for less than 10 percent of abortions.
Im against using abortion for birth control methods.

i am against abortions because it is killing a inncont life the baby didnt ask his/her mom and dad to have sex. Abortion should be for medical reasons only and if a woman or a young lady gets raped.

Its wrong. Not making babies is easy. Its not hard NOT to make them. Theres protection available ever where, education on how to be safe and how to use protection, theres even free protection available through certain organizations. Beyond that, theres more to life than sex.
Even in the case of rape its wrong. Rape is horrible, dont assume I dont know what I am talking about, Ive been faced with that coming to terms with that. Its not a choice I ever EVER would have decided in favor of. My child, no matter how it was conceived is innocent of my guilt and/or its fathers.
