Being stressed out also may cause your period to come late. Wait a week, then go into a clinic and ask for a pregnancy test, if you don't want to buy a home test.
As for Tina, you don't know her situation. You have no idea if it could have been an accident, a lot of babies are born unplanned. It could be you one day, just broken up with your boyfriend or finace or even your husband, with an unplanned pregnancy. Who are you to judge this girl anyways?!? It could. Severe depression, stress, lack of nutrition to an unborn child that is so young, could cause you to miscarry. Though you may not be hungry, do eat. Take naps, etc. Test as soon as you can. However, even if you're not pregnant, you need to take care of yourself.

it can hurt the baby. stress can cause you to miscarry or cause problems later in pregnancy like preterm labor. i would try to eat something becuase pregnant or not, its not good to not eat at all. im sorry about your break up. i would go get a hpt next week just to be sure and it wont hurt to go ahead and make plans for your future, with out a baby daddy. maybe he will come around....mabye not, but for right now try to focus on your health in case you have a little one in there! good luck

It is normal to have pregnancy symptoms when something like this happens. When my fiance and I broke up when I was younger I was really nauseous, couldn't eat, etc. I went to the doctor twice for pregnancy test...blood and urine, and they both turned up negative. If you are a week until your due date for your period you should be able to get a blood test done to put your mind at ease.
