i had my little boy 3 years ago and had to be stared off in to labour which was a hard time (4 days) has anyone that has had child before been in this position . what my question is if you have been started off with first pregnancy does it happen with all pregnanacys

I am 33 weeks pregnant.My husband don't act the same with me anymore he use to always want to have sex no he don't even bother trying,I will ask if we could have sex tonight and he tells me yeah baby if you want to but when its time for bed i`ll ask if we are going to do anything and he tells be he is to tired .....he is making me think something is wrong with me ...is it me being pregnant?

I'm nearly 28 weeks pregnant and had an ultrasound at 12 weeks then one at 21 weeks.

Is there usually another one before the baby is born?
If so what is it they look for most? Can they tell if the cord is around the neck and if the baby is engaged until birth.

My 1st child was born face up why wasn't this picked up until his head came out?

just recently i received a phone call from my doctors office saying that my baby is in a breech position and wants to go over the ultrasound results with me on my next visit. He also ordered another ultrasound. I got really concerned because I mean at 21 weeks babies are still growing, still getting bigger, so its normal for beby to be breeched at 21 wks right? I am still freaked out. Its my first baby so I am freaking out. I called the nurse back and she said everythhing was fine. But its so early in pregnancy, why order another ultrasound to check my babys position? Is there something wrong???? I mean i feel my baby move non-stop...she's always moving. I just need opinions.

this will be my second one and i'm 14 1/2 weeks... Everyone I tell that i'm having another u;trasound is concerened because this is the second one I will have... does anyone know what would be done or seen in this one? is there anyway to know now if i could find out the sex? Should I be concerened? when the dr said to schedule it he just said it was time for one...
the first one was done in confusion to my conception date. I thought I was further along (9 weeks) the doc thought I was further than that due to how I felt but the ultrasound showed I was only 6 weeks.... the dr said I felt bigger / further along because I am a little heavy set.

I had sex,and he *** while in me.we freaked out so we took paper towels and used them inside me as if they were tampons and pretty much dried my vagina out and then used a suction thing to sqirt water up as far in my vagina as possible and sucked it out as well and repeated the process a couple times.... does that lower my risk of being pregnant??

Hello, we found out that we are preg about a month ago and its so awesome!!! i'm so excited!!! we went to the doc on sept 10th and before that everything was fine. first ultra sound was on the 10th too, she also got a pap and the doc said that it might make her bleed a little bit which it did. the next day and today there is a little bit of spotting nothing much though. is this normal? the doc said it would be. my girlfriend said that she is feeling like she has cramps pretty lite though. is this normal???? also i dont know what its called but the doc tried to hear the heartbeat but she isnt that far enough yet, (we are only 8.5 weeks!) on the ultrasound we seen the heartbeat :) just wondering if everything is okay????? i dont want anything to go wrong

Ah this is driving me crazy. I have yet to lose my mucus plug (been having a ton of mucus pass but no blood stained/pink tinged yet.) Been having vaginal pains as well, but no loss of mucus plug or water breaking. Could I have not noticed that I lost it (is that possible?) . I've also been really nauseous lately and my back has been really sore. Plus my belly is rock hard to the point of soreness as well. Could I deliver soon? What do you think is going on? Any advice would be great help. Sorry for all the silly questions, I'm a first time Mom :)

She is 5 weeks pregnant, and today the doctor said that the past week the baby didn't develop, still the same statistics as before. He said to wait till next week to see what happens.

Can everything be fine, is it normal???What can prevent it??? A natural abortion can cause (gonorrhea) something to my girlfriend???

I want to find out if I am pregnant. Today is the first day of my missed period...with only like a minute of spotting this morning. The first day of my last period was Aug 14th. I had sex on Aug 26th...other than that, there has been no sex. I am supposed to start my period today (Sept 12th)...but no bleeding yet. I am tired, nauseous, and my breasts are very sore. I know I can take a pregnancy test, but I am going to go to a planned parenthood center tommorrow. I am impatient and just want any opinions! :) I am really wanting to be pregnant, and feel that this would be the greatest miracle of my life (if I am, indeed, pregnant)!

I am 37 weeks and 4 days pregnant... today I had my weekly exam. The doctor checked my cervics nothing abnormal. Same as last week! however, when i got home i noticed after using the bathroom i had some mucus bloody discharge. it was quite a bit.. more than normal! i was wondering if your mucus plug had to be a big "blob" looking like a skinless grape.. or if it could be more like bloody snot? (sorry for the details) if anyone has any good advise besides ask my doctor please let me know! thanks!

i went to the hospital monday & the doctors there told me i`m 30% effaced. i`m not due until october 22nd. Does this sound normal ? Does this mean my baby is cominq sooner ? What caused me to be 30% effaced already ?

first of all, are most women at least SOMEWHAT dilated once they reach 39 weeks? If you weren't, did you go over your due date?

also, could you "feel" when you began to dilate, and if you could what did it feel like? thanks!

ill b 38wks tomorrow and i believe my mucus plug came out this afternoon. sorry to b gross but it looked like a tan snot-like stringy thing with a lil bit of blood. plus these contractions r startin to come maybe every 13-15 mins and strong enough to the point where i can no longer sleep thru them. has anyone been in labor soon after the release of their plug? i know there may b still b no tellin of exactly when i will have my baby girl but isnt the release of the plug a sign that something is sure to happen soon??

i have been feeling some pain in my vagina especially if i want to urinate and i dont go right away.on of my friend said that it is just my pelvic bones expanding especially since i am not sexually active.is there any truth to that?

I am 8.5 weeks, and they told me I would be able to see and possibly hear the heartbeat. I am not so much concerned that I didn't get that, but that I did not see a baby at all. All I could see was a sac. My doctor moved my due date later and said I was probably more along 6 weeks. That is impossible though, since you are not technically "pregnant" for the first two weeks and the time I would become "impregnanted" by that timeline is after my husband had already left for deployment. (And no, I do not cheat on him or sleep with anyone else). Is there a chance my baby may have something wrong with it? I have not had any bleeding or warning signs of a miscarriage.

Here I am 22 weeks into my pregnancy and have had minimal prenatal care. I've been in the "process" of applying for Medicaid now since JULY! They tell me today that they DENIED my application b/c my "pregnancy hasn't been verified." The proof from the Doctor with my Due Date on it (as they require) was turned in with my original application in July.

I have been having really painful spasms in my back and I've miscarried during my 2nd trimester of pregnancy TWICE now. The last time was just a little over 9 months ago.

I have no insurance. I'm not registered to deliver with any hospital. I don't have a DR. I have no idea if I am still carrying a live baby or what is going on with my body at this point.

Some people have told me to go to the ER.
Others have told me to go to a L&D instead.

I'm wondering if anyone knows if I can just walk into any old L&D and get service?

If so, WHAT DO I SAY?

Will they do an ultrasound and tell me what's going on?
Would L&D even see me?

I stood up from my desk chair and had really intense pain for about 15 seconds in my ribs, my shoulders, my neck and in my lower back and hips all at the same time.

Im 35 weeks and just want to make sure it was not some symptom of some complication I havn't been hit with yet - before I call and panic anyone since i am home aloen with my toddler at the moment
