yes it happened to me my first pregnancy...i lost it and then a few hours later i started getting contractions irregularly...and then thru to night they didnt stop and early morning they kept me awake, they started getting more regular from 10-15 minutes apart and little more painful and then soon they came closer together and more irregular like every 3 minutes..after that happening for an hour i went to the hospital and they confirmed i was in labor...so yes it could happen that soon!!!!!!!!!! good luck!!!

Usually if there is blood in the plug (frequently called bloody show) labor is close!

Keep timing those contractions, and try to get as much rest as you can because the hard work is coming up! Congrats!

If it had the blood in it, you are getting pretty close, PLUS the contractions already, you closer, keep them timed & rest, the hard part is coming still & soon. If your water breaks, get to the hospital or when they get to be 4-7 minutes apart. Good luck......

It is a sign your uterus is dialating. If your water has broke, you need to call your physician. If it has not and your labor becomes closer together, call anyway. Sometimes your water has to be broken by the hospital. Everyone is different and it is always best to consult with your physician. When in doubt, go to the hospital. They don't mind a bit. Good luck and congratulations!

Yes, soon....
Normally contractions have to come down to every 2 minutes before you go to the hospital.... If you are alone, don't wait and go when they become at every 5 minutes....

Congrats! you will be a mother very soon!

Good Luck!

I lost my plug 4 weeks before going into labor, and my best friend lost hers 1 weeks before going into labor.

yup sounds to me like you'll be going anytime/anyday, keep a time on those contractions and when they get 5 to 7 minutes apart call to let your doctor or the hospital you'll be delivering at know :) congrats!

The mucous plug releases when your body is preparing for labor. You're getting close, and it could be any day now!!!
