I stood up from my desk chair and had really intense pain for about 15 seconds in my ribs, my shoulders, my neck and in my lower back and hips all at the same time.

Im 35 weeks and just want to make sure it was not some symptom of some complication I havn't been hit with yet - before I call and panic anyone since i am home aloen with my toddler at the moment

Thanks in advance

About that time, the body starts releasing hormones to cause your ligaments to stretch so the pelvic area can enlarge for the passage of the baby's head through it. I started having intense pain, esp in joints, if I stayed in one position for more than just a few minutes. We had to stop traveling because after sitting in the bucket seat of the car, my pain was overwhelming.

I don't know if that's what you're experiencing or not.

When I was pregnant I got so many sharp pains in all areas of my body, especially under my ribs and in my pelvic area. All your ligaments get stretchy when your pregnant, so things can move around a lot more - I found if i made quick movements I would get a lot of pains.
I had no complications at all with my pregnancy, but I would still suggest you go along to your Dr. & mention it to him/her on the off chance he wants to look into it further.

Good Luck :)

well, considering there is a human inside of you, there's not much room for your own organs to move around right now, so the pain is most likely from that
if it persists, call the doc

I never experienced anything like that before. It's always better to see your OB/GYN if you have a question. Just call the office and ask.

If it only happened once, it's either gas or your belly stretched. If it's constant, please go to the doctor.
