has anyone here gone to a chiropractor while pregnant? i am experiencing escalating lower back and pelvic pain and am wondering about this?

Today I got a sonogram and my baby was upside down and her head was already engaged in my pelvis...my due date is october the 31st...does this mean that she might come early?
I am 34 weeks now and I will be 35 this wednesdsay

I;m 23 weeks pregnant and I'm getting pain around my pelvic area when I'm walking around. It feels like my pelvic bone is being stretched. any answers????

has anyone ever got pains in there butt i've been getting bad pains that start from my waist and go down to my butt where it hurts the most i cant move when i get them.BUT ONLY ON MY RIGHT SIDE NEVER THE LEFT?im 31 weeks and been getting them for the past week.sometimes it goes to my leg to but most the butt?i've heard of back pains but never butt?anyone ever get this?

My wife, who just found out that she was prenant the other day, loves to eat fish (i.e. Tilapia, tuna, salmon,) Somebody told me that there are certain fish that she can/cant eat. Can somebody shed some light on this for me? Any assistance would be great!!!

I had to go to the hospital for a scheduled non stress test this morning. baby had good strong heartbeat and was moving around quite a bit. The nurse showed that for at least the hour that I was there I was registering for regular mild contractions 5 mins apart. they sent to have my cervix checked and i am STILL not dilated AT ALL! .... frustrating! I worked tonight (as a waitress) simply to KEEP ON WALKING hoping it would help progress things along. Is there anything I can do, even though I havent even begun to dilate? I am 100% effaced, and zero station. Help, I want to meet her and I REALLY REALLY dont want to have to be medically induced which I am scheduled to do by thursday if she doesnt arrive before then. please help!

I went to my friends last night and we all was talking about the changes to contraception. Some one asked about the effects of the morning after pill compared to RU486 (abortion pill.). I have searched the net for some information on it and am not having any luck. So I will ask you all.

If the morning after pill causes you to bleed wouldn't taking it when you was pregnant (like 6 weeks or more) have the same effect as RU486??

Please this isn't an abortion debate, I am pregnant and very HAPPY!
It made us think last night, and i would really like to know. Thanks gys and girls

I am 3 days late going on 4 days late of my period. I took a pregnancy test but it came out negative. just i have no signs of my period and i feel perfectly fine and when ever my period is late i get really sick, every time. never fails but i feel perfect. I took the test around 6 - 7 pm, maybe i should have waited until morning. so it was strongest.

Could I still be pregnant?
what should I do?

I went to the doctor and he said i was at minus three station in my labor and i forgot to ask what that meant. I am dialated 2 and 50% effaced and was just wondering about this.

Yeah, just wondering because either my wife has a lot of symptoms that run parallel with a pregnacy or there are a lot of tests that come back with a false-negative... Any good reccomendations? Any advice?

what u think are my chances of having the baby on sunday or before. he said opening.i don't know abt effaced. ( dont understand that part). but a week before they said i was 50 percent effaced and 3(-1). i am so lost. do any of u understand any of this. but my question is how llong will it take since i am 1 cm dilated and my first baby.

So I'm only 25 weeks pregnant but my doctor said I was having mild contractions which are normal (I didn't feel them...braxon hicks) and my cervix wasn't dilated...it was closed and long, so they sent me home. I also was having back pains all day and my lower back still aches, like when I have my period, but NO uterus or abdominal pain...Is this normal? They did the FNN test to see if I would go into Preterm labor last week and it was fine. My doc also said I'm fine and sent me home. I just am so scared about everything...it's my first baby...

O.K....I know it was stupid but last time I thought I was preg I bought a combo pack...I took one and wasn't preg. Months later when I was cleaning the bathroom I found the box with one of the preg tests in it I decided to pitch the box because I needed the room. I thought I had saved the directions but when I just took the test I can't find the directions anywhere. I don't need to know how to take the test but I do need to know the results. It was probably a generic test from KMart or Walmart...it has 2 spots where blue lines can appear. If there are two lines am I pregnant??? Thanks

it has been nearly 4weeks(on monday) since i gave birth to my son and am still having some pains in my stomach and pelvis when i walk a certain distance or carry something heavier than well i guess my son who weighs just under 9lbs but any pressure even the slight bit it hurts i did have a womb infection but my stomacgh got better after i was taking my antibotics now finished then over 2weeks ago and the pain has came back not as bad but its still there can there be an explaination for it? i am still bleeding from after birth cause i had to get stitches

hi all,
im about to turn 13weeks pregnant on sunday. this is going to be my third baby. and ever since week 7 if been having a really ruff ride. every kind of pain and pregnancy symptoms have been thrown in my direction. i never had any symptoms while pregnant with my two little boys apart from feeling abit sick now and then. now all i do is throw up. i hardly ever eat as if i do i just promtly throw it back up. i get really bad head aches every night, im consently tired, the smell of food makes me sick, cleaning my teeth makes me sick, even taking my folic acid of a morning makes me sick. of a morning i try to eat a peice of fruit and i cant even keep this down, i eat a grape earlier and that made me sick. i feel like just throwing my diners down the toilet as thats were they will end up any way. ive heard ppl say that it gets better as you go in to your second timester but nothings changed for me. if anything my symptoms seem to be getting worst. any advice? thanks all

Hi, I am 38 weeks pregnant and was diagonsed last week with mild preeclampsia, then put on modified bed rest. For the past couple of days, when I am laying down instead of sitting, it feels like something is sitting on my chest and it burns when I breathe. I'm fairly certain it isn't GERD, because I've had that for months now and it feels different. It doesn't matter what side I lay on. I've tried to call the Dr.'s office, but so far have only gotten voicemail and no call back. It isn't terrible, but it is noticeable and makes it difficult to sleep. Has anyone heard of symptoms like these before? I was thinking about calling L&D at the hospital, but I generally get the "paranoid pregnant woman" treatment and was wondering if this is just something that comes with late pregnancy. Any ideas?? Thanks for any input!

So my doctor and I kinda fired each other today. I told her the problems I was having, after already telling her on phone 4 days prior to today, and that a doctor at ER had said they think it is a bleeding ulcer and need to get it taken care of ASAP. I am 35 weeks pregnant. She said that she would not do anything for me until baby was born and wanted to schedule another appointment (after canceling mine yesterday and making it today, causing me to miss my son's appointment he only gets every 6 weeks!) for 2 WEEKS from today! She always cancels my appointments! I am 35 weeks and am suppose to be seen every week!! She said I was dilated to a 1. THEN she answered her cell phone during my EXAM!!! It was so gross and unprofessional! So my husband and I told the nurse that we may have to find another doctor and what should we do, but we wanted to wait until we fond another doctor to not come see current one anymore. The doctor then came in and said good luck, she was not giving me another..

How would I make my own belly cast? I know they sell kits but if I can get the same result and save the money I'd rather do that and spend the money on something else for the baby.
