Pregnant women aren't supposed to get tattoos OR piercings in case of a bacterial infection. Even though strict laws are in play today to ensure the cleanliness of needles and other instruments, infections do still occur. If one gets into the bloodstream of a pregnant woman, it will travel across the umbilical cord and can affect the unborn child.

Because there is a risk of contracting hepatitis A,B or C. Some tattooist aren't reputable so they recommend you wait until after the baby is born so if you get it the baby doesn't get it too.
Good luck.

Infection is the biggest threat. WHen you get an infection in the skin it ends up in the blood stream much quicker, which means your baby is at risk.

Beyond that the inks tend to have toxins in them that are bad for the baby.

You can wait 9 months, it wont hurt you.
