Why are some people always that you HAVE to be married to have kids? Or just judge you if you are pregnant and not married? I believe this is nonsense, Im 30 weeks pregnant and got married only a month ago if it was up to me I would have waited untill the baby was born or even more but my husband wanted me and the baby in his life insurance and we wanted to make a will to protect our baby's future, we have been living together for 3 years and there is no difference now that we have a marriage certificate, I dont think I was a bad women because I wasnt married, living with him and pregnant, We have a stable & healthy relationship and that is what a baby needs. It drives me insane when I see people saying its sad that you are not married and having a baby or people that think they are better because they are married and are always flauting it in your face. They trash an 18 year old if she is expecting and not married but if she is then she is smart and a good person.

My best friend told me tha once you have a baby they cut the umbillical cord off and place it back inside of the uterus of the mother. She says that they do this so that the next child will have something to feed off of. Is this really true?

I started feeling mvement at 17 weeks, and at 20 I talked to my doc about it because the kicking is getting really intense! Ultrasound, etc, is all normal, and the doc explained that I'm feeling it so much becuase 1. I'm thin and 2. the placenta is behind the baby, pushing it right up to the front of my belly. She told me not to eat sugar, etc..

Now, it's a week later, and this kid won't stop moving. It doesn't even weigh a whole pound yet, but it just kicks so intensely all day long. My friends and boyfriend are all amazed at how strongly even they can feel it, and from the outside, you can see my belly move when the baby kicks.

I'm sure nothing's wrong, but it's starting to make me really nervous about the next 4 months, when the baby really grows. This is my second pregnancy but sadly I lost the last one at 19 weeks, so this feels like uncharted waters to me. Has anyone else carried such a kicker, and how did the pregnancy progress?

I am 32 weeks pregnant and have had very small levels of blood in my urine off and on during this pregnancy. Every time it was visible only by microscope, they periodically checked for UTIs and everything was negative. I was on antibiotics just in case, but now they are sending me to a urologist. I have no history of UTIs, kidney problems, or anything else I think of when it comes to this. It's been a healthy, run of the mill pregnancy (knock on wood) so far! Anyone had a similar situation or know why this could be happening?

Why do people look at teen pregnancy as such a bad thing? They think that just because your a teen and pregnant that you must be a whore and such. That isn't true. I have been with my baby's daddy for a year on christmas. He and I wanted to be together and get married before the baby even happened. I'll be 18 and already graduated when it's born. I am still going to college, just in the spring now. The baby isn't going to ruin everything for me so why do other people look at teen moms so badly?

I understand all the risk but is it really worth it? Since i made the decision 6 years ago to get them tied should i leave it at that? Is it possible for me to even have a pregnancy that is not in my tubes? The miscarriage that i had they believe it was not in my tubes.

I'm due Jan 5th, and I know everyone is different, but I have a national borad exam to give in the beggining of Dec, and people have started telling me about how they had their kids 3-4 weeks before they were due. My doctor said that first time pregnancies tend to go over the due date, but some of my friend had their children early, who were also their first.

Any advice on staying calm?? I'm so worried that the stress of studying and worrying about all this is going to make things happen faster? Thanks in advance...I know I sound like a paranoid preggy woman :)

Alright- I know, I've been posting questions out the wazoo the last couple days...BUTTTT..

I'm (now) 39wks and 3 days...And here's a simple rundown..

Sunday night- Up and down all night w/what I thought were REAL contractions- They disappeared about 6am.

Monday morning- Lost a big piece of my mucous plug.

Monday afternoon- Lost bits and pieces of my mucous plug through the rest of the day/evening- Dealing w/a constant cramping feeling in my lower abdomen/back.

Tuesday- Still losing small bits and pieces of my mucous plug- And dealing with a constant cramping feeling in my lower abdomen/back..

Tuesday night- Lost what looked like a little white chunk? of something, it was really small..maybe the size of the end of a q-tip-still cramping.

Wednesday (so far)- Still cramping in abdomen/lower back..

These cramps feel like the ones I get the first week of my period..They're not so painful that I can't deal with them, But they're mighty uncomfy...

Continued...

'cause I read somewhere that the rays are harmful for the unborn child. The Boss at Work keep giving me a bundle of photocopies with no respect at all.
I asked my friend who is a nurse and told me "Better safe than sorry, if I were you I would surely refuse !!!"
What's your opinion on it ?

My boyfriend and I this past weekend told our families about the new bundle of joy on the way. Everyone was thrilled and cant wait. Yet when family and friend called and visited and started calling me mommy and put their hands on my stomach i kinda felt uncomfortable. This is my first child and i dont know if its because im not used to all this attention. Anyone else feel this way with their first. Im just trying to get use to the idea of me being a mommy =)

I have used the ring for the past 4 months. Last month on the scheduled insertion date I was out of town & simply forgot to out it in when I got back.....I know, "duh"! 5 weeks later I still haven;t had a period, the urine test is negative & the dr. wants me to take another one in 2 weeks(she says it may be to early to know). In the meantime, insert a new ring. If I am pregnant counldn't this harm the fetus? What's the likelihood that I am pregnant ? Yes, there was unprotected sex.....often.

Were/are any of you terrified? I don't mean terrified of having a baby and being a mother, that I am so excited about. I mean terrified about every little thing you do and how it will effect the growing baby inside you, wondering if every twinge or spot that you feel and see is a sign of you losing the baby, etc. I know that I shouldn't worry until I have just cause to, but I am so scared that something will go wrong. Is this normal or am I just over reacting? Thanks!

I want honest answers. I haven't really had any major signs of pregnancy (no tender breasts, major cramping), but I am so nervous that I'm beginning to believe I am (after condom broke). For example, I am about 60% sure I had my period last week, but I think, 'What if this is just implantation bleeding?' Or when I get the slightest cramp, I think it could be related to pregnancy. Ladies, has this ever happened to you? Thought you may be pregnant? It's really stressing me out!

alright what is the difference if there is any difference between early pregnancy discharge and pre period discharge?? i dont recall having the discharge that i am having now before any of my other periods so i am wondering if this could maybe be early pregnancy discharge. i am showing many other pregnancy symptoms such as sore boobs that feel as if they lost a boxing match lol, bloated tummy, feeling hungry all the time, mild headaches, fatigue, mild cramping, i had spotting not too long ago, and the discharge that i am having right now is a milky discharge and my urine is darker than usual, i am having slight cramps in my tummy and some pain in my lower back, and help on this would be oh so very appreciated. thanks a ton.

I am only 31/2 months pregnant and I pissed my pants while I was throwing up. I had no control over it, I couldn't run to the bathroom or stop it from coming out. I could see if I was almost 8months and the pressure of the baby was on my bladder but I am still freshly pregnant (right?) WTF is going on?
