What actually causes the morning sickness (although mine lasts all day)?

I'm 21 weeks pregnant and since yesterday I have been insanely emotional. I can't stop crying. Is this normal for the second trimester?

My lovely wife going to be 8 months pregnant with our son around christmas time. She really doesnt like much stuff like materials. All she talks about is how she is looking forward to being able to "fix" herself up + use styling products that pregnancy has prevented after the baby is born.

My doctors keep on telling me to keep busy and stay active. I have been very busy and people tell me that I need to sit down and relax. What do you consider as being too much on my 37 week pregnant body?

I called in yesterday when I had been sick pretty much all night. I never threw up yesterday but I did pretty much sleep all day and was still nauseous... I don't know if it was or not but if it was morning sickness should I feel guilty for missing work?

Ok...I had my period in early August. Around August 31st I started spotting, and it stopped September second. My periods usually last for a week so I was a little confused. I was due October 2nd and again November 2nd, and havent started my period. I am having some pregnancy symptoms...tired, boobs heart, veins are appearing more, and my stomach I think maybe starting to harden up. If I'm pregnant, I'm probably about 3 months or so. My friend started showing a lil bit at 3 months, but I don't know! I'm also starting to get nausated throughout the day, but haven't actually thrown up yet. I've been eating more to. I took a cheap pregnancy test about 2 months ago and it came up negative. But I'm thinkin it might have been to early or something, I don't know what do you think? Do home pregnancy test work on ALL people or some? Do you think I'm pregnant?

On Friday night me and my boyfriend had protected sex. Before ejaculating my boyfriend realised there was a little rip at the side of the condom. My boyfriend never ejaculated but i am still scared over the pregnancy risks. Does anyone have an instinct of what the chances of pregnancy due to this situation are or any advice on the matter? I am pregnant with our 3rd child but never experienced morning sickness with the first 2. Monday morning I woke up feeling horribly drained and a little dizzy when I was up and moving around. I was out of breath easy too. Monday night I 'got sick' twice from just liquids on my stomach. I never got a fever, cold chills, andything. Now today, Wednesday, I still feel weak and kind of dizzy but I am getting a little bit of my appetite back. Is this morning sickness?

This is my first child, so is this normal to be feeling at this time? I'm not due until the 28th. Does anyone think there is a chance that my little one could come early? I have been having a lot more discharge in the last few days also. I'm just curious....any advice will help!

I'm always tired, my breasts are a little tender, I've had bad mood swings and my period is about a week late. I took a test but the line was really faint and the instructions stated the line would be bold. I'm planning on taking the other test in a couple days and if I have the same result I'm going to the doc. Does anyone know what the faint line means (if anything)?

while today is not easy for me im 37 weeks pregnant and feeling really depressed.In the begining of my pregnancy i was prescribed anti depresistants but i stoped taking them because of the side effects that it may cause to my baby.Chrunch has helped keep my mind stright but lately i feel worse then i did before i dont want to get up i cry all day and i lash out on everyone.has this happened to anyone else and how did you fix it.do you think my doctor will put me back on drugs or wait until i have the baby .i hate this feeling i feel helpless some advice please.

I spent $150 total on maternity clothes today. I spent $100 at Old Navy and bought 8 shirts, 2 pants and 2 capris.

Then I bought 40 pieces of used maternity clothing for $30. The used clothes were from Motherhood, the Gap and Target. It included 25 very cute shirts, 4 pants, 2 jeans, shorts, and much more.

All I need to buy is maternity bras later on. My clothes should fit me my entire pregnancy unless I gain 50+ pounds!

My husband thought $150 was too much. This is my 1st pregnancy, and we are planning on another baby in 2-3 years. So I can use them again.

Oh and I work in a business casual office, so I can't get away with just buying big shirts and sweats during my pregnancy. :(

I found out I was pregnant 2 weeks ago. At this point, I'm 7 weeks. Last Sun. and Mon.I was spotting lightly and my doctor had me come in for an U/S. They saw the heartbeat and told me that the sac was laying low in the uterus. The spotting continued and then this past Sun. (11/5) I had severe bleeding. For about 1 1/2 hr. I was going through a pad every 15-30 minutes. Then it just stopped all of a sudden. I passed nothing on Sun., but last week (Wed.) I passed what seemed like a few large blood clots, they seeemed to disapate when they hit the water. This Mon. I had no bleeding, yesterday one large brown spot, and today just a few tiny brown spots. I have had no pain whatsoever, not even a cramp. My SIL said when she MC at 7 weeks it felt like labor. I still have morning sickness, still exhausted, breasts still tender. My Dr. is waiting until 11-22 to examine me again. But in the meantime, I'm going crazy wondering "Am I still pregnant?!" Can anyone help? Thanks!

I had unprotected sex several times with the guy i was dating. I am on the pill but missed twice. I have been even more tired that usual lately, ( and I have Chronic Fatigue) having to pee more often and when i do, it hurts kind of, fevers, some cramping and dizziness, tender boobs and frequent nausea. My period isn't due for at least a week yet.. but i don't feel like i usually do before a period comes.. I am almost 22 and the Father, if i am, is 33. Am I knocked up? what do you think??
