I would call them today. My doctor told me to come see her when I was 8 weeks pregnant. That's next week for you - I would call the doctor now to schedule that appointment. Good pre-natal care is essential and the earlier you start, the better.

Good luck!

My first doctor's appointment was before I got pregnant, the doctor told me to call and schedule an appointment as soon as I knew I was pregnant so when I missed my period I called to make an appointment and do a pregnancy test so I did, I was 5 weeks pregnant when I did the test at the hospital, then doctor told me I had to make an appointment in the OB clinic, I called and they gave me an appointment at 8 weeks, this one was my first official OB appointment, then they re-schedules me at 11 weeks to hear the baby's hearbeat, but we couldn't so i had to wait two more weeks.....etc..... I can go on forever, but you have to do it right now! it is never too early to schedule an appointment, they will do blood and urine tests on your first appointment to make sure you are doing good.

Call your doc and ask them when you should have your first appointment. Every doc is different and there are different reasons for different times. My doc didn't need to see me until 10 weeks so that she could hear the heartbeat with the doppler. If you've had any bleeding or are unsure of your dates, they will probably want you in earlier.

You should schedule as soon as you find out you're pregnant. They say if your planing on becoming pregnant you should schedule before you become pregnant. So go ahead and schedule now for the best prenatal care you can give your baby. Congratulations on your baby!

You should make an appt. now. You will need to get an exam, and an ultrasound to make sure everything is going well. They can measure the little guy and make sure you are seven weeks. Dont you want to see him/her??? I couldnt wait, and still cant every appt! Plus you need to get on prenatal vitamins to help the baby development!! Have fun...you have a wonderful road ahead of you...this is just the beginning!!

I went at 7 weeks to my first appointment with my 4th baby. Its better to go now so if you get bad morning, sickness, or any other type of complications, you wont have to wait forever to get into the dr office. You will have already been seen and they will know what they can prescribe you , etc...

I would call right away. I called the day after my positive result (I took the test at 11pm) and got in the next day for confirmation and prenatal vitamins. I believe it was 8 weeks I had my first exam.

As soon as possible. The doctor will prescribe prenatal vitamins and other pills that you should take during pregnancy to ensure a healthy baby.

I would call right away. I called them as soon as I had a positive prenancy test. They took me in right away for some bloodwork to confirm and luckily they did because they found that my progesterone level was low and so I just started injections to get my numbers up. Don't wait dear, it can be critical right now.
