I don't want to announce my pregnancy until I am "safe" at about 3 months. My husband wants to tell everyone right away because we have been wanting a baby so long he can't keep it in.

I am just worried about telling everyone and then possibly miscarrying. I don't want to tell my friends or co-workers until I am about 4 months pregnant. A woman at my work announced her pregnancy and lost it at 6 weeks, she was so upset when people asked about the baby. My friend announced her pregnancy at 5 weeks and the same thing happened to her.

When should you tell your family?

I am 15 weeks pregnant. 2 ultrasounds (because I am high risk from high blood pressure with my first baby) everything is going great. I'm scared to death to buy anything or even think ahead. It took me 4 years to get pregnant with my first and 5 years for this one. Do you feel I should worry about this pregnancy as much as I am or am I just over reacting? I realize I'm in the so called "safe zone", but could I be fortunate enuff to actually have 2 children when I've had such a hard go of it to get pregnant? I just keep telling myself that no one is that lucky.....call me crazy if you wish, you just won't get the 10 points for best answer! LOL J/K

I am six weeks late, which is not normal, I have been feeling sick all day, I have back aches, but I did a test that came back negative, but looked like something more wanted to come through. My husband called the doctor and we are getting in as soon as we can. Could this mean that I am pregnant?

I am 14 weeks pregnant for the first time. I have been breaking out on my face since puberty, but never on my chin and jaw like now. Also, they are big, painful zits rather than the normal clogged pores that I had before. I have heard various theories on guessing the gender of the baby... but I am wondering who else expirienced this symptom, and what gender the baby was for you? (Im figuring its a boy / testosterone)

I am 5 weeks pregnant and I'm not sure what to do. I went to the clinic yesterday for a pregnancy test and it tested positive. And now my boyfriend and I are completely clueless as to what to do next. I'm 22 years old and he's 25, we are at a good age in life to have children, but we fear that we are not ready yet, at least not for a couple years at least.

So my choices are to have the child and hopefully raise him/her well, or adoption, in which my boyfriend doensn't really want because he doesn't want his first born to be adopted out. And then there is abortion. I've already been throught this once and I'm not all that sure I can do it again. I hate this situation I'm in, yes, I'm sure some of you are thinking "you should've been more careful, like use protection", but I was taking the pill and I just kept forgetting to take it the same time everyday, so I ended up missing a few days then had to wait for the next turn around.

So if anyone out there can help me, thanks.

If i start buying small baby items, like blankets and clothes n things like that. And i save ALL the reciepts, do you know how long they accept returns....Like im 7 weeks pregnant and i bought a few blankets today, say something happens, which i doubt, but something could always go wrong, and i want to take the items back in say 8 months, will they still accept that or is it too late by then? Thanks

I took the test the other day, just one day late. I had spotting a couple weeks ago, not much. I have 3 kids so I know some of the signs. I did have headaches for about a week and if someone showed me a big fat hamburger right now, I would get sick. I live in a small town and can't get to any stores right now to buy a better test. I don't want to have my husband buy one, just in case I'm not I think I would break his heart if it was neg. I just was wondering if anyone else had problems with those cheap dollar store test?

I am 16 weeks with twins and had VERY bad morning sickness since 6 weeks. I was hospitalized 6 times in 2 months and am currently take promethazine, reglan, and pepcid from the doctors to curve the vomiting. I also have a picc line installed due to all my visits, My question is ITCHING is this a normal factor of being pregnant or maybe this is a reaction from one of my meds?


I am itching all over i stayed up 2 hours last night i tried a shower, i tried lotion i doint know what else to dp, Doc suggested benedril but not something i feel comfortable taking......any Help please!

I'm 7 weeks pregnant. I have experienced some bloating, hardly any cramps. My doctor told me this was normal. However, last night and this afternoon I've been feeling some movement in my uterus. Normally, I'm really sensitive to things for example, before I got pregnant, I could feel when I was ovulating and right after conception, I could feel the wall of my uterus thickening. Is it possible that I can feel the placenta, sac and embryo growing?

If I am pregnant, I would be nearly 3 weeks. Are there over the counter pregnancy tests that will pick up the increased hormone levels of a 3 week pregnant woman, and how accurate are they. Also, if anyone knows, can pregnancy symptoms be the same as menopausal symptoms, eg. tender breasts, nausea. Any advice will be helpful.

ok my b-f an i were in bed n he was playing with his self but he said that he didnt bust. Then he went to the batroom but he didnt wash his hands. then he put his hands down my pants in the front and went in a little with his finger. So am i pregnant? I took a home test on Nov 3 that came positive. However the week prior to that I had what I considered an abnormal period (Less than usual and very dark) it lasted for about 9 days. I had a blood test to confirm the home test on Nov 6 it came back postive however when I explained about the bleeding the nurse said that my BHCG level was on the low side and that I may have miscarried already. She booked me in for an ultrasound for the 14th and wrote on my form that my BHCG Level was >5 and they were checking for viable pregnancy. I have also been cramping and have sharp pains in my lower abdomen. Should I be concerned of ectopic or miscarriage or is this a somewhat normal occurance

I've been feeling a pressure type pain around my pubic bone when I walk, or when I shift my weight from one foot to the other while changing. This is my 1st pregnancy, and would like to know if that's "normal".....like anything is???!!!! My hips and legs and lower back have also been achy at night when I sleep?? I have been doing a lot of research and have read that you can have your period when you are pregnant. I have been having pregnancy signs and have been getting my period but they have not been normal some longer some shorter. They also have been spotty and a little light. I am not sure if I still could be. I have taken pregnancy tests but I have also read they can even give you false readings more often in the beginning of your pregnancy. My boyfriend and I really need to know if I am or not due to financial reasons. I have an appointment next week and I was wondering when is a good time for my ob/gyn to check to see if I may be pregnant. Should I be so far along before he checks for that?

I am sure i am pregnant, my first pregnancy... (took three first response tests) but i would be missing my first period about right now... and already i feel tired all the time, sick ALL the time, I have been peeing alot and today I started crying 4 times- 1 for a baby commercial, 1 for a song, 1 because my jewlery box fell, abd the last time just because. Are all these symptoms just in my head (like my hubby says) or am i really having them this early... Most women don't even now they're pregnant for a few weeks from now.

Oh... and all these symptoms started like 5 days ago- except the sickness has been for like a week and a half.

If I was pregers I would be 5 months I have had pregnancy symtoms the whole 5 months an now my belly is getting bigger and so am I. A line appeared on my belly 2 months ago like on a pregnant womans belly an it feel hard at the top an where my belly botton is I just want what you all may think I am making an appoitment at the doctors again too an please no rude answers.
