I prefer to do things the natural way and like to know if any one knows some good herb combinations for making teas that will benefit pregnancy.

I have done a fair amount of research on this subject, and the only herb I felt safe using during both of my pregnancies was nettle herb (stinging nettle). I have done a lot of research on this one herb, and what I have learned is that is is considered a "nourishing herb" for pregnant women. It also has the added benefit of helping to fight allergy symptoms and being a very mild diuretic (great for helping to keep the swelling ankles at bay).

Okay this is a very serious question bcuz you can do yourself and your child MUCH harm by taking herbs while pregnant. You need to consult an professional herbalist or a naturopathic doctor, NOT the internet. Some herbs hv toxins or steroids that you SHOULD NOT take while pregnant, as they could cause your unborn irreversibe harm! Therefore, it is not a good idea to perscribe yourself herbal combinations, but rather consult a good herbalist to make sure that you are guided to take the ones that are best for you, your health, and the health of your unborn. -Janet

NONE, if you can help it. Herbs can have an exremely dangerous affect on your baby, even causing premature labor or miscarriage. If you must, discuss all possible herbs with your doctor before you use them.
