I've been feeling a pressure type pain around my pubic bone when I walk, or when I shift my weight from one foot to the other while changing. This is my 1st pregnancy, and would like to know if that's "normal".....like anything is???!!!! My hips and legs and lower back have also been achy at night when I sleep?? I have a doc appt. on the 13th and will ask then too!! Thanks!!!

It's perfectly normal...you'll actually laugh about it after having your baby. I didn't have the pressure but my best friend and cousin did. They both claimed it felt like their well, you know-whats were going to fall apart. I had the lower back, hips, and leg pain though. It's basically the baby's head putting pressure on nerves and stuff. Congrats and best of luck!

That is absolutely normal. Your baby is probably starting to drop now so you're going to be feeling some more pressure in your pubic area. I know when I was pregnant my back and hips ached almost all the time. When your pregnant your body releases a hormone called relaxin that makes your joints relax so you can have more room for the baby to come out. That makes your joints really achy.
Don't worry though! You're almost there! Good luck!

Hello,
I had my twin girls at 32 weeks. And like you, I too was feeling pressure in my pubic area and I felt I had to constantly go to the bathroom.
It turns out, I was going into labor. I had been feeling this way for two weeks. You see, I was asked by my OB not to take lamazee classes, so I did not know that when you feel these types of pressures this could mean you are going into labor.
So, you just might be going into an early labor. Call your OB....
Hope this helps you................. :-)
P.S. My twins just turned 1 year old on the 5th.....

at 32 weeks your body is probably getting ready for birth. your pelvic area is just starting to adjust to the right size for the babys head to fit thru. as for you bakc try laying on your other side. thier is a vien or main artery that you could be laying on and that could harm the circulation of blood to your baby. if your back still hurts then prop yourself up on a few pillows. kinda like the hospital beds and how they adjust. some lower back pain is normal, remember you are carrying around extra weight. just start taking it easy and let your body rest up for the delivery.

Sounds like your bundle of joy is laying low in your uterus causing pressure in your lower abdomen. Not too much you can do, but unless it becomes extremely bad, you should be just fine. Get some rest, he/she will eventually move out of that position and give you some relief. Best of luck with your new baby!

gosh! you are expecting your baby very soon. 8 months is not a joke and any baby could be born then. Well my advice to you is that you should never be at home alone incase the baby is coming.
Have a safe delivery gal and many more to come.

That pulsing your feeling is commonly the twine being driven up in opposition to the wall of your uterus. I've felt it A LOT, too and talked to my OB approximately it. He advised me that the while the youngster movements regularly the twine can get 'smooshed' in opposition to a wall and we think the pulsing of it.
