Pregnancy - November 2006

Last time I was pregnant I took a HPT the day before I was scheduled to start my period and it was positive. I had a miscarriage 2 weeks later. We have been trying again for 2 months now, and my period is a day late but the test is negative.

I know some ladies on here say they didn't get a positive test until they were 2, 3 or 4 months pregnant. So to all those ladies, I was wondering if all your pregnancies were like that or if each pregnancy was different?

I asked a similar question earlier, but I went about it all wrong. I'm 7 weeks and can feel some stretching in my uterus. Is this possible? I've been feeling it on and off for almost 2 days now. It's not painful, just weird. It's definitely NOT gas. Should I be concerned?

Does anyone know the difference between the feeling of a baby moving or gas? I felt something yesterday and it felt weird like little waves in my stomach, but I'm not sure what the feeling is.

I am 10 weeks as of tomorrow and have been taking extra folic acid since 6 months before I got pregnant. Is it safe to stop tomorrow on my 10th week but just keep taking my prenatal prescribed from my ob?

I am 18 weeks pregnant and everything I read says I am 5 months along, is this accurate or just a rough estimate because all months are different? Looking at a calendar I put myself in the 4 month range. Can anyone make this more clear to me?

ok so im 13 years old and 41/2months pregnant and my doctor said that the pains r normal just that the baby is very low and probably i will have it around 6 to 7months is that ok can somehting happen to it no mean answers

What can I do to help with the headaches? I'm 11 weeks along and they get me every afternoon, it feels like sinuses but I've taken three antibiotics and nothing has helped, could it be tension from stress at work? Any suggestions would be great, I don't want to keep taking Tylenol (which doesn't help much anyhow) several times a day.

I dont get it. I have heard so many times that sometimes women just know they are pregnant. Without any real signs such as, missing a period, possitive test, or morning sickness how is this possible?

I tested positive for Group B strep.. The Doc realy didnt act like it was a big deal, but I looked it up on the internet and I read all this stuff that could happen. Can anybody give me some advice??

I have skin issues and the only way I can keep them to a minimum is by tanning. I only go once in a while in the winter. You can't even tell I have a tan at all but it really helps keep me from getting eczema all over. Im trying to get pregnant so I need to know if its ok or if I will have to suffer this winter. Any advise?

Help, I'm 37 weeks along, 3 cm dilated 70% Effaced. According to my doctor this baby could come at any time. However, lately I have had so much vaginal discharge I have had to wear pads and I never feel dry. (so this is what baby must feel like) It has gotten to the point that my genitals are so irritated it hurts to sit down, like a really bad yeast infection. I asked the doctor to check for a yeast infection yesterday, but the results were negative. I have not broken my water. What can I do to keep dry, I'm sure the constant wetness is causing all the irritation, but other than changing my pad often I don't know what to do. I'm sure birth will be painful enough, I don't want swollen, itchy and sore genitals too. Any ideas? (ps. I tried baby powder last night, it provided about 15 minutes of relief) I know an increase in discharge is normal, I'm not worried about how much it is, just the pain that it is causing.

I am 22 and have been with my boyfriend for about a year. We have been living together for most of it. I recently found out that we are expecting our first baby. My boyfriend, myself, and his family are so excited. My mom and her family on the other hand are not. My mom told me I should have an abortion because I am too young and I'm ruining my life. She told me that I will never finish school because I am too lazy and unmotivated. And all of sudden she doesn't like my boyfriend. I just can't believe all of the hurtful things she said. I understand that she has the right to her opinion but she doesn't have the right to make me feel bad about myself. I cry almost everyday because I feel like i've lost my mom. I'm not sure if it will be this way forever of if she will ever come around. My boyfriend and I are financially and emotionally ready to support a child and I just wish she would realize that.

I'm just a littl over 36 weeks and last night. I started feeling horrible. I had a bath and since then I have been hot then cold its very uncomfortable. This is mental! I am going to be 40 weeks next wednesday, went to my doc checkup yesterday, had a different doctor as my doc was unavailable. He noticed I have gained 6 pounds in 6 days, and asked me if I was having twins and if not then I am sure going to have a big baby! Last scan was at 24 weeks showing 1 baby, always one heart beat heard. He did the usual feel around the belly and believed if it one baby 'hopefully' I can have it naturally. Since I hit my 3rd tri I gained weight rapidly. So far in total I have gained 81 pounds! And I drink so much water I get so thirsty I have swollen everywhere lol and have the biggest belly in the world! lol Just wondering, could the doctor be wrong about the size of baby and it just me with all the fat? lol I don't believe I am having twins even though my sister is one and twins and triplets run on my father's side and twins on my mum's side. Oh and I'm eating normal lol. Any ideas would be appreciated lol.

Okay this is my secong pregnancy.....

The first I had no symptoms and felt great and had a lovely baby boy.

This time....I feel extremely tired, boobs have never been so sore in my life, acne like a crazed teenager, moody, and not to mention some morning sickness now and then. I generally have cravings for sweet things but occasionally salty.

Any guesses on gender??
