My baby sits very low too, my midwife assisted that I stop working but I still haven't stop yet. She did not tell me nothing about me having the baby early, although I do feel like I am going to have the baby early. N E ways I believe you will be just fine. Yeah 13 is a bit young but hey life goes on, and good for you that you did not have an abortion and that you stood up to your problem, I too had got pregnant at 14 and had my son at 15 and now I am 21 and pregnant with my 2nd child.

Good Luck!!! B the best mommy to your baby.

I'm not going 2 knock u 4 ur age. But i do think u should b very carefull threw this pregnancy. U r very young and ur body isn't fully developed. So u may or may not have complications. Just know if u feel somethings not rite with your body u need 2 b seen by a doc asap. And hun talk 2 ur mom. Shes probably freaking rite now. I know u r 2. I would b.But just know if u take care of yourself while u r pregnant ur baby will b healthier when it comes. And not tryn 2 scare u but its going 2 b small very small, and in the ICU 4 a few months. Take that time 2 get 2 know ur baby and learn as much as u can b4 he/she comes home. Also read up on anything and everything u can get ur hands on. I hope 4 the best 4 u and ur baby. Take care and good luck

wow... you are rather young to be having a baby- but congradultions anyway...

Also the fact that you are so young probably means you are small in comparison to most women, which would account for why your doctor is expecting an early delivery... having a premature baby is more difficult, but the baby shoudl be fine- with proper care. (i was a premie to a teenage mom and i'm 19 and perfectly healthy) The care for premature babies has become better over the years so you should both be fine. Just make sure to do what the doctor says...

Also, you may want to talk to your doctor about the risk of toxemia (it is more common in younger mothers) and watch for any warning signs.

I wish you the best of luck and god bless you for the courage you have to try to bring up a baby at 13 in today's harsh world. Congrads.

I'm sure you are very nervous and scared- i was , and I was pregnant when i was 22...I hope nobody judges you, b/c there is no turning back- I think that you should make sure you go to every ob doctor appointment, and make sure you listen to the doctor- people are right your body is still maturing itself and will use a lot of energy to have this baby...Just becareful and try not to stress- it will be ok- if you do have the baby early, the hospital will be able to help keep the baby stable- just worry about what you are going to name him/her.

Good luck.

Bless you, honey. Because you're so young, your cervix probably hasn't fully matured, so you are looking at an early delivery. At six months, a baby can survive, but will be very sick, and have to stay in the hospital for awhile. I'm not trying to scare you. I'm just preparing you. At seven months, the lungs aren't fully mature, but your baby will stand a good chance of survival if you've taken good care of yourself. Having said that, I will say this: Please take care of yourself. A baby is a precious thing. I am expecting my third, and wouldn't trade any of my girls for anything. If you need someone to talk to, e-mail me anytime. And pick up a copy of "What to Expect When You're Expecting." The book is very good about explaining things, and there's an answer for every question you could have.

the survival rate for babies born at 24 weeks is 50%, with 90% of those having some type of ongoing disability. at 30 weeks the survival rate is around 90%. I had a child at 29.5 weeks. yes she survived but they did not expect her to at first, she had many many complications and a very long NICU stay. If they are expecting you to have a premature baby b/c of your age/condition, then i strongly recommend you get some books on the topic and educate yourself. Also ask your hospital where you will be delivering for a tour of the NICU (yes they do this, they did for me before my daughter was born).

The baby will probly be very sick. A baby can live or die at the age. You body itself wasn't mature enough to have a baby. I have no room to talk though. i am 16 years old and pregnant as well. I hope everything goes well for you and i will keep you in my prays

Well, since you are so young, your body is still maturing. You cervix has not grown up all the way, and your body is now going to have to mature and make a baby, which is a lot of energy and not too healthy. Try to rest a lot, because your body is working triple time, since you are a youngin, but just try to take care of yourself and don't stress about other people. Now it is you and your child. God Bless.
