Congratulations, you have just had the first feeling of your baby moving inside you. Its hard in the early stages because no-one is sure what the feeling is, its like butterflies in the tummy and as you get bigger those butterflies will turn into kicks...sometimes so hard that your tummy will look like its out of shape....lol....enjoy the feeling, it will get stronger

It is very hard to tell at first if it was the baby moving or if it was just gas. It really depends on how far along you are, and of course, everyone is different so you could feel your baby move earlier or later than 16-20 weeks. The first time I felt my baby move it actually scared me, it felt like my heart was beating really fast, but it wasn't, it was my baby fluttering. I felt this around 18 weeks with my first pregnancy. Enjoy your pregnancy!

When the baby first begins to be felt by its mother many women mistake it for gas. Depending on how far along you are, the waves you may feel might soon turn to a fluttering feeling (like butterflies). Once those begin to become more intense, over time you will recognize that feeling as your baby!

I just felt kicks from mine starting at 16 weeks. Never felt any waves or butterfly movements. I have had 4 pregnancies and that is all I have felt. Everyone is different though. Depends on how far along you are.

If it kind of feels like butterflies then that is one way to tell your very little one is moving!! Congratulations on feeling your baby move for maybe the first time!! As you go longer into the pregnancy it will change. And you will for sure know that it is the baby.

First, how far along are you? Most people do not feel the baby till at least 17 weeks pregnant. If you are around there yes it could be the baby; if not gas or the "sensation" of the baby, not the movement its self.

How far along are you? If this is your first pregnancy, and you were small to begin with, you should start feeling the baby move around 20 weeks.
But don't it feel funny, like bubbles in there?

Most likely you did feel the baby move especially if you are 16 weeks plus. It does feel like little waves and bubbles bursting.

It depends how far along you are in your pregnancy. Most can feel their baby move from 16-22 weeks. I didn't feel my baby move until 20 weeks.

If it felt like a rolling motion it was most likely the baby moving. How far along are you? I was 20 weeks along with my son when I felt him for the first time, but with my daughter she was a real mover and I felt her at12-13 weeks along.
