I asked a similar question earlier, but I went about it all wrong. I'm 7 weeks and can feel some stretching in my uterus. Is this possible? I've been feeling it on and off for almost 2 days now. It's not painful, just weird. It's definitely NOT gas. Should I be concerned?

As your body changes to accommodate your growing baby, you will definitely start to feel your uterus beginning to enlarge. Sometimes it may just feel as if you are bloated and sometimes it may feel like a sharp pinch. The sharp pinch is from your round ligaments stretching with your growing uterus. It can be annoying and sometimes quite painful.

You shouldn't be concerned. Some people (though not many) do have a hypersensitive uterus. I do. I could actually FEEL myself become pregnant, and feel the attatchment to wall of my uterus occuring. I could feel all the stretching, as well as every little hiccup and kick and burp. This might make the last few weeks of your pregnancy more unbearable than if you didn't have a hypersensitive uterus, but for me it made it much more memorable. Congratulations on your pregnancy and best of luck you and your baby in the future!

uterus, no... ligaments yes. At that early its the ligaments being stretched to support the soon to be added weight of the growing uterus. It can happen really bad when you first stand up. When I was pregnant, it would sometimes double me over in pain.. infact, with baby number two, that is what made me realize that I may be pregnant and why I took the test..LOL

At 7 weeks the baby is only a little bigger than a grain of rice, so not big enough to cause the uterus to start stretching yet, but bloating can occur, making you feel uncomfortable.

No your uterus will constantly be stretching throughout the pregnancy, as long as there is no severe pain or bleeding I wouldn't worry.

Its normal, dont worry about any of the little pains unless it is really heavy cramping or bleeding. Being pregnant is so much fun!
