On Friday night me and my boyfriend had protected sex. Before ejaculating my boyfriend realised there was a little rip at the side of the condom. My boyfriend never ejaculated but i am still scared over the pregnancy risks. Does anyone have an instinct of what the chances of pregnancy due to this situation are or any advice on the matter? Any help will be much appreciated thanks.

Well the body is MADE to reproduce BUT most women take a little more then that ONE time. The man does have "pre" *** that veryv well could get you pregnant. It took me 2 years of UNprotected sex to get pregnant, I wouldnt worry too much. If youa re worried all you can do now is get yourself a test or wait for symptoms.....

The chances of pregnancy will be slim - but it's still possible.

I'm assuming that the condom included a spermicide which should kill any sperm that may have escaped, and the fact that he noticed before he ejaculated will help.

As I said - there's a small chance, but I don't think it's something you should worry too much about.

Glad to hear you're practising safe sex - keep up the good work.

p.s. if you are really worried about this go and see your doctor. There is a morning after pill - but I don't know how long after sex this is effective.

It is possible to get pregnant without ejaculation - I know because it happened to me! But the chances of that happening through a small rip in the side of the condom are very small, as any pre*** would have stayed in the end of the condom. Try not to worry too much.

Theoretically the chances of getting pregnant are there but there again, there are many other issues which need to be considered, depending upon your menstrual cycle, chances are higher commonly in mid cycle but that doesn't mean you cant get pregnant at other times. It is difficult art to predict but keeping in mind your age and how fertile you or your boyfriend is, it doesn't take much to fall pregnant. Now some practical issues. yes you could take Morning after pill within 72 hrs, sooner the better and more effective it is. or you can see Family panning adviser to consider coil fitting up to 5 days after sex, or best option is to go and discuss with your doctor/nurse, if not, wait until your next period, if your periods are delayed, do pregnancy test and act accordingly. More importantly, I would consider another form of contraception along with condoms as they are notoriously famous for getting split in passionate love

The chances of sperm being in his pre-ejaculate can be slim depending on how much his body produces.

How close are you to your period?? A woman is only fertile a few days each month which usually fall 12 to 14 days before her period. So if you just had your period or are about to start you should be okay.

Please go on the pill if you are going to be sexually active. Condoms are only 75% effective. Good Luck!!!

Hopefully you will be ok - you would have to be very unlucky. You can get pregnant even if a man does not ejaculate, but I hope that as you had used a condom, even though it ripped you wil be absolutely fine.

There is a low chance that you you be pregnant.

Most condoms are made with spermicide even if your boyfriend had alittle pre-ejaculation.

this is just my opinion but i think if your partners telling the truth the chances are slim but to be shure just do a pregnacy test in a few weeks or wait to see if u have your period and if no signs go get test done at docs for free hope this helps a little and try not to get too overstressed or u can feel things that arent there if you know what i mean :)

You should go on the pill, too. It'll put your mind at ease in future, as there'll be far less chance of accidentally falling pregnant than with just one method.

It's very unlikely you are now, but not impossible.

you should be fine. there is always the chance however due to preejaculate. but this doesn't contain as much sperm. the only thing you can do at this point is wait until you miss a period and then take a test.
