Ok. As a pregnant woman myself, I can completely understand where your wife is coming from.
Bottom line- she is not going to seem interested in christmas because she wont enjoy anything until she gives birth- so give her a gift that she can use AFTER she has the baby!
You should use this opportunity to be creative and give her the best present that shes ever had! Make her a toiletry basket!
What is that?
A toiletry basket is a basket filled with all of her favorite grooming like perfume, soaps, shampoos, hair products (all the products that she loves + hasnt been able to use while pregnant).
In addition to those things, go to your local full service beauty spa- get her a gift certificate for pedicure/manicure, hair style, facial+makeup and massage.
Then be really special by writing a note to her telling her how much you love her + appreciate her & you wanted to give her a very special present of her faves with the gift of relaxation for a day.
Make sure you buy a pretty woven basket, basket wrapping +bow. Place all the items in the basket and of course, close it up really pretty. Then, put it in a gift box and wrap it.
She will love it.

A pregnancy massage if you think she'll use it while she is still pregnant otherwise a day at the spa for after she has your son. My husband and family treated me to both of these options over the years and with my different prenancies. The pregnancy massage was one of the best gifts I've ever recieved! As for a day at the spa it was also nice to be able to leave the house and relax but I would have rather done the spa day with a girlfriend (just a thought)
Congrats on the new baby on the way :)

Give her the gift every mom wants. Make a gift basket look at the things she uses or ash one of her friends. Put in body care products and one of the items should be a gift certificate to a spa or a massage after she has the baby. However you have to be careful this can back fire she can think that you think she is ugly and fat and this all women feel at this time and even up to six mths after the baby is born. Another thing you can do is make a coupon book with things like. One afternoon nap baby free (meaning you take the baby out, one foot massage or any body massage, one dinner where you will cook her diner or take her out maybe get the grandparents to watch the baby, one afternoon that she can go out with friends alone, make some of the fun like movie not home, hot bath, some can even be where you are involved this will help your marriage. When a baby comes its always hard for the parents. You have to make her feel good man as a woman I am telling you for at lest 6 mths your life will be hell with woman emotions (You have been warned)

Get her a day spa gift certificate. After having the baby she will really like a day for herself and it will make her feel beautiful during a time many women don't feel too great about themselves. It sounds like she might be feeling a little less than pretty now, so be sure and tell her how beautiful she is often. And back massages are heaven in the third trimester:)

Get her a gift certificate to a salon, for the "works", hair, nails, all of it. If you have a day spa around, try that. Or, even someone who gives massages. If you know the kind of make-up she uses, and perfumes, then buy them, if not, give her a gift certificate to go get all the things she wants. Tell her you will keep the baby that day so she can go relax and enjoy herself. Or, if she wants you to go with her, grandparents to watch the baby that day, or neighbor, friend, and when you both go out, take her to a nice restaraunt, let her go to the salon, go to a movie, or play, whatever it is she likes. It will remain in her memory forever. Oh, and of course a new outfit!

Get her a gift certificate at a spa so she can spend the day being pampered. She could use a day to herself to relax after being miserable for 9 months! Good luck and congrats on the new baby!

If she doesn't mind the wait you could give her a gift certificate for a total spa day after baby is born along with a guarantee that you will watch the baby.
It could include nails and toes nails hair a facial makeup and everything massage. The works.
