Alright- I know, I've been posting questions out the wazoo the last couple days...BUTTTT..

I'm (now) 39wks and 3 days...And here's a simple rundown..

Sunday night- Up and down all night w/what I thought were REAL contractions- They disappeared about 6am.

Monday morning- Lost a big piece of my mucous plug.

Monday afternoon- Lost bits and pieces of my mucous plug through the rest of the day/evening- Dealing w/a constant cramping feeling in my lower abdomen/back.

Tuesday- Still losing small bits and pieces of my mucous plug- And dealing with a constant cramping feeling in my lower abdomen/back..

Tuesday night- Lost what looked like a little white chunk? of something, it was really small..maybe the size of the end of a q-tip-still cramping.

Wednesday (so far)- Still cramping in abdomen/lower back..

These cramps feel like the ones I get the first week of my period..They're not so painful that I can't deal with them, But they're mighty uncomfy...

I had a dr's appt. last Thursday(11/2) and was dilated to 2cm, And he said the baby was for sure in position- said he could almost feel her head while doing my vaginal exam.

WHAT ON EARTH ARE THESE CRAMPS AND WHY WON'T THEY GO AWAY?!?! Lol.

OK, I am sooooo excited for you !!!!! our cramping and back pain are from all the extra pressure of the baby, remember the babies head is now literally pushing on your lower spine, and your birth canal is stretching to 100x its normal size, and your uterus is getting ready to help you push this little wonderful bundle of joy out. 100x more powerful than pushing your period out, wouldn't you say. and probably on top of it all you are having some contraction getting your pelvic bones and area ready for baby's debut.... HOW EXCITING !!!! Good luck and enjoy--- It is worse than when we were little waiting for Christmas!!!

Dear you are in labor....call your dr and make sure he know what's going on...he may ask you to come in today or just wait until your appt tomorrow, but you gotta call him, so if your contractions get closer together they know you might show up. Those period like crampings are contractions....you are gonna have your baby SOON. Be sure you have everything ready and your bag pack...how exciting...congratulations!!

Theyre braxon Hicks contractions, the onset of labor, or prelabor contractions. Theyre good and useful for your stage of pregnancy as they help position the baby and thin and open the cervix.

Stay active, walk around. The more walking you can do without becoming exhausted the better.

When they become regular try timing them. They should be about 5 minutes apart for atleast an hour or two before you go to the hospital.

You're perfectly on cue and your body is reacting as it should.
If your water breaks call your doctor. :)

Ahhhh!! Boy, that brings back memories. You're not fully dialated yet. Grab your sweety, or a good friend, and take a walk outside. This sometimes brings your birthing on faster. (Walking that is) At least it helped me, and will definately help get your mind off it. Congrats!!

Hon, they will go away when the baby is born, well, after. Then you will get to deal with them again when you get your first period again after delivery.

CONGRADULATIONS, btw. Keep the community posted and let us know when the little one arrives.

I will pray for a salfe delivery, and a healthy baby, and a healthy you (mom)

God bless

You are going to have a baby silly !!!? These cramps will more likely get worse !!! If you can time them and they get to be a constant 5 min. apart I would contact your doctor.

My gosh! You are so ready, why won't they take you? Or induce you with something to help you dialte. Has your doctor thinned your cervix? Ask him to if not, that will help :)
